Are Glam's Jack and Pigpens belly-piglet not Catholic children? :D:p

MFD, hope the last hour speeds by!
  • I've just set Aimee to work emptying the dishwasher... She was quite excited by the responsibility... Wonder how long until the novelty wears off.... ;)

Still working for me at age 10 ;):D
Hello lovelies! Can anyone offer sleeping advice please?

If you read my epic explanation of how I put Benjamin down the other day then you will know that I favour the putting him down and retreating yet reassuring method.

Doing this has changed my life completely. I have gone from being a frazzled, stressed out, tearful mess who thinks I am a terrible mum every evening to a relaxed, have a cuddle, lots of kisses, a few verses of twinkle twinkle and p1ss off to enjoy my evening mum. I was spending anything between 1 and 2 hours getting Benjamin to sleep every night, now it takes max 15 mins with a bottle, 30 mins with a bottle and a bath.

I wish I had started when he was 6 months.

Weezl's onion tarte tartin is in the oven :D mmmmm.....

Going to serve with some salad stuff and some lovely bread I bought earlier.

I really wish Amber would just crawl, she is going onto her belly, then falling forward and bellowing with frustration. Peace will be restored when she works it out I think. I hope.

I went to donate blood this afternoon. But I didn't. Apparently my iron level is 10.8 which is really suprising as I've not been affected by it at all. (I'm not suprised it's too low to donate as I've never been high enough but didn't think it would be that low.) So Alice didn't get a sticker.

    I think you're right Tia...

Hubby just offered to pick me up a clearblue... I honestly don't know when AF is due... Really should have made a note of the last one... I told him I'll wait until the weekend...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I'm a peanut butter addict but dislike the uk brand stuff...so making my own actually tastes better, yum.

Sometimes Chinese supermarkets have the US stuff available if you're ever desperate for the ones from home ;)

Same is happening here except Molly alternates between yelling because she can't crawl and yelling because she can't walk :rotfl:
She does scoot backwards and has started to figure it out, so she turns round and shuffles backwards in the direction of the thing she wants while navigating over her shoulder :rotfl:

Edit: Krystal, you were wondering where your AF was when mine showed up ten days ago :)

Yes - it gives me another reason to ask the doctors to check various things.

there was a discussion on 'thinking allowed' on radio 4 a week or so ago on home schooling susan. I think you'd be really interested. There was someone who's done their PhD on the demographics of home schoolers.
