We only decided to go at weekend so we're just waiting on friends to confirm if their coming or not before we buy the tickets but us three are definately going. We didn't go last year but did the two before. It's a really nice family atmosphere, nothing's too far away like at big festival's and kids are really well catered for. There's a baby tent too where you can go and have a brew, feed baby, chill out on the sofa's and have a rest
I've just been looking on ebay for one of those pull along metal flat trolleys, I don't want to take the pram but have seen people using these so they can take stuff around the festival with them or put baby in if they want a ride/sleep :rotfl:Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
For the raisin biscuits, can I swap lard with butter (and raising for currents cos I have them now)?0

Thanks Weezl, I found the site.
Now, what I need is a interactive meal planner, so I could swap some things over (some of it my family wouldn't eat), but I think I will go for the 'if I'm cooking, this is what you are getting' approach and introduce a few dishesIt looks yummy to me, I'm not as fussy as them, mainly DH.
I completely understand if you can't be faffed to respond at length:D, but I'd be very interested in any feedback on what a normal family wouldn't eat, cos that's what would make the site better, if it really helps real families IYSWIM?
So any opinions very gratefully received. (only be gentle;), it is hundreds of hours work so far- I kid you not!)

It's more that DH was raised to think that dinner is meat, potato and an over cooked soggy vegetable drenched in salad cream. So he will not eat soup as a dinner, ever. But I've noticed on soup dinner days you have a chicken pie for lunch, so I would swap them round.
Nobody likes houmous, so a generic sandwich (we usually have sandwiches for lunch) would have to be used (or is it to up the protein?) The bean pate looks nice, but generally, pate is not something we would eat.
And breakfast is cereal or toast, try offering anything else and we get a tantrum lol.
So, it's more to do with fussyness and personal taste than anything wrong with the food. there is nothing wrong with the food, we just all have different tastes, but it's great to actually see it as a very good basis to build upon.
If I were to use it for a month would you be interested in the changes I made?0 -
What's the site? Did i miss the link?

gosh I wish I'd rolled out the soggy veg with salad cream version sooner now!
I would be very interested in that Tia:A, and especially if you were able to give a rough idea of how much money this might save you from normal, once you've added back in the essentials for your family....
like the salad cream
(seriously, Blwchhh)

Hello my lovelies!
How are we all doing today?
I have had a busy day of meetings and now I am sat catching up on emails wishing my last hour away so I can go and pick up the babba. His daddy dropped him off this morning so I haven't seen him since 7.15am. Hubby did get to experience the heart-melting-moment of Benjamin waving him off and blowing kisses as he drove away :A
Hubby and I practised the good old catholic method last night - how on earth had I forgotten that I needed to go to the docs to get more pills? I swear my head is a complete shed these days!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Whoops.. Rhys and I went for a lie down and woke up two hours later!0
