Good luck csh! Hope it hoes well for you.
Another up and down evening here again. Not sure what is causing it but I hope this phase passes quickly.
You may remember I am going on a Hen do this weekend and staying over.....well OH is now totally !!!!ed off as the in-laws have decided to come for the evening to 'help' with H. OH is too nice to tell them it's utterly inconvenient but I am also hacked off as they will be here while I get ready, will pass judgement on my outfit etc and they'll be here when I say goodbye to my bubba.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

GISI I read somewhere about developmental changes causing changes with our babies sleeping habits. I do wonder if this is not helping with T's sleep as sometimes a couple of weeks ago when he woke in the night he would be staring at his hand which was his trick of the time. It said something like once they have learnt a new skill, they want to practice it lots, including in the night... great!! Hope u and H are good, have u expressed milk for H while u are away? I am debating what to do about a Westlife concert (wait for the peep taking, lol!!) that I really wanna go to, but not sure how to deal with the milk situation as it would mean T missing his last feed and he usually settles by feeding off me each nite (plus u might remember he is not good with bottles) xxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0

Anyone happen to have come across any "party manifestos" type info or discussion on couples' tax allowances (e.g. a couple each on £24k pay less income tax than a couple with one stay-at-home and one earning £48k - etc etc)?
I'm not being all political I am just interested to see what the latest position on it is? All this talk of back-to-works made me think of it.0 -
Good luck tomorrow Csh. Hope the day flies by. Are you working in the afternoon then? I will be thinking of you. x
2 til half eight! Then 7.45am til 3pm on Thursday and 7.45am-7.30pm on Sat, incase you are at all interested! Every [STRIKE]ash[/STRIKE] silver cloud and all that! Rather trapped going home than coming over0 -
Jillie - glad to hear the day went quickly. I can meet SM for the meet if your not able to come.
CSH - hugs for tomorrow, did you manage to get some work shoe's sorted?
Em - that does sound like a mare situation, I hope it work's out for you and him.
Gisi - could OH mention how he's looking forward to his first 'boys night' with H? Majorly hinting to them that their not needed?
I'm off to watch some more Flashforward, sling meet in the morning then I need to buy some new bulb's and seed's for the garden as I planted up loads of decorative tubs last week and the birds have eaten most of the bulb's out of them  Night all xBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Hi ! Forgive me if this is in the wrong place ! After a bit of advice please if anyone can help? Have a 5 and a bit week old, born 5 days late at 10lb+. He has been taking bottles in 10 mins maximum every 3 hours. For the last week or so has been taking 6oz easy, but the last couple of days has really dropped off. Has been taking 3, 4 or 5 oz at the most. Has been going about 9 hours in the night. Should I try to get him to 4 hourly feeds to see if he will go back to taking 6oz, or is a trip to the doctors a better suggestion?? I'm a worrier anyway, so any advice would be appreciated!!0

I really don't know this time fattybooboo. I'm just hoping it doesn't last.
Tbh I am mega worried about leaving him Saturday. He has settled a few times for OH but he is just so hard to settle at the moment that I fear they may battle. But it's only one night, he is happy with OH so hopefully it will all be okay. I've expressed shedloads of milk so there is plenty, but I fear he will miss the comfort of BFing. He's now taking quite a bit of food too so seems to be taking less milk overall. Will T take a bottle at all?
Off to bed, see you all in the morning.
SS- hope you sleep okay and that someone can help you move the mattresses tomorrow.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
