    Eeeeeeeeevening all!

SS, those wraps look tasty. I showed OH and he just said "wheres the meat then?" pointless man!

Bit of stress for me here. OH has been offered and decided to take a new job working as a Heath and Care Assistant in a local hospital, which is something he has been wanting to do for absolutely ages, as he wants to work his way up and train through the NHS to eventually become a paramedic like his dad, and has looked into all kinds of training and study options and has found that the only way in seems to be if you already work within the NHS. Dont get me wrong, I'm really pleased for him that he is doing something he wants to do and he has been applying for these jobs for over a year now so he is definitely dedicated to it, but deep down I'm really not sure its the best thing for us as a family. Its shift work so I'll have to stop working Sundays and work another day in the week, if my work lets me, to ensure Seth has childcare while I'm at work, and therefore pay more for that. We currently dont have any work travel expenses as we both live within walking distance of work, and with the new job he will have to either drive, train or bus, more money for that, and then on top of that its going to be a pay cut of around £200+ a month, which we really cant afford! Oh, and the small matter of my huge debts to pay off as well, I was hoping to start making some headway on actually paying them off but now I dont think thats going to be able to happen either.
So we've now said we'll put the wedding back (for the third time!) from June 2011 to June 2012 so we can make sure we've got enough money to pay for it. We were hoping to move house next year as well, which we wont be able to do now, and we were going to TTC straight after the wedding which will also have to wait now, if we can afford to at all!
If it all pays off then great, I will be pleased, but what if he ends up stuck wiping !!!!!! and cleaning bedsores on a crappy wage forever? There is no guarantee he will even be eligible for any additional training/studying for what he wants to be, its all a hunch. So while he's all pleased with himself, I'm trying to be but cant help thinking he is a selfish bell end that cant seem to grasp any kind of household budget sums!

Anway... MFD, any news on Mr MFD yet? Hope everything is fine and it turns out to be man flu xxx

CSH - Hope tomorrow goes ok back at work, I bet its one of them things where its fine once ur there, its just the thought of it.

Aless - T has never been a great sleeper but he has been getting harder to settle after his night feeds lately and we are not sure if thats related to teeth or just where he is getting older and more aware of whats going on? He is deffo shoving his fist or anything he can get his hands on in his mouth loads more now though and so I am sure his teeth must be grumbling. Must be horrid for them mustnt it!!

Right well Ive devoured cheesecake and now am heading to bed to read for a little bit, sure that cheesecake is going straight to my hips!! Im still trying to finish Shopoholic & Baby!! Nite all xx

    I'm off to bed too.

Oh wait, no I'm not, I'm off to mattress on the bloody floor because the guy we hired to help drag the new mattress up the stairs and cart away the old one didn't believe us when we said "this is a mattress from the UK, it's not one of your roll-up strips of crappy German foam" and came totally unprepared for an actual mattress.

I'm trying to think of it as a camping adventure but the reality is I'm flucking furious.

Goodnight, lovelies. I hope the day goes quickly csh, let us know? xxx

    Will do!

Why does everything you do turn into some kind of Benny Hill sketch with music in my head? :rotfl:
