Aww bless little Jack!! It's awful when they hurt themselves so young.

I remember when my DS was about 1 and my mam and sis were at mine looking after him when i was at work. I got a phone call from my (drama queen) sister saying he'd split his head open on the coffee table.
I wasn't worried cos he was in good hands and they'd sort it out. But my mam went mental at this table cos it had sharp edges and had been warning me about it for a while, she went outside and smashed it into pieces LOL :rotfl:

He had the tiniest cut ever. That was his first injury i think, and we've been averaging about twice a year since then at A&E for various stitches and gluing :rotfl:

Thanks guys - scruffy there's already been a few this week :o

Noticed today he's sitting up differently now - sits with his legs spread really wide apart rather than with his knees bent and feet touching.

He's just guzzled a 5oz bottle and I've had a bowl of fruit and ice cream so we are now off to bed!

MDW - Hope Katie's eyes clear up soon.

Beenie - that is mega cute

    Morning!

Glam, how's Jack? Scary for you all, I'm sure.

I've just realised after posting that I'd rather hang out with the baby than do situps, that I'm closing in on 12 000 situps for the year - but I do them when she's asleep. I'm already stressing about having to work and the stress that goes along with it because it means I'm not always here and when I am I'm not always able to relax and enjoy the new things Molly's up to and into, I don't want to add "and I have to spend every waking moment agonising about my jiggly belly" to my list.

New bed arriving today. As sod's law would have it Molly is peacefully snoozing in the old one so we can't start dismantling it :rotfl:

Mattresses aren't all the same size KOAG - measure the existing mattress or it'll tell you the size on the instructions. We got a nice one off ebay for the travel cot, I still wouldn't want to sleep on it but Molly uses it as a playpen so it's soft enough for that.

so guess who's just got back from A&E? :(

J smacked his head on the head board part of his cot bloody hard. He's OK but it was really hard n OOH GP said to go. He's still awake now (happened just before 10pm) - have to wake him up at 1am & 2am then keep an eye tomorrow.

I think he needs a baby scrum cap :o

Awwww - hope he is ok.

James was so accident prone. Was at A&E so many times that I was scared in case they put me on the child protection thingy :o

I don't think they are. Ours was wider and more square-ish than my friends which was much narrower.

Worrying about the ash cloud as our hols are getting closer.

Off to the dentist this morning as a bit of either filling or tooth cracked off a back molar. I hate dentists :o
Here I go again on my own....

get better vibes for poor katie's eye. Also hugs for jack.

Deffo going to argos today as the sun is deffo waking him up early despite our best efforts. I couldn't sleep for some reason last night, kept dreaming of pushchairs. :o

Kindof, dumb question but have u tried tummy massages to help with his wind? Finn still only poos every 4-5 days but it doesn't hurt him so can't help much i'm afraid :(

Dh is off so enjoying a very lazy lie in as he goes back tomorrow. Will respond more later when on the compiter. Can't remember if there were other poorly babies so apologies if i've missed anyone.
