Awww very cute piccies, Claire!
EA I'm in London but always said if a meet was in Basingstoke, I could come as it's easy on the train...but that's not really close for you. I know Feely & Ladybird & GISI have all met up before so they're nearish each other.

has anyone ever tried to do the Mothercare price match? Their pushchair sale is soooooooo tempting but I just found it cheaper on Argos (but I'd rather order through MC, you know?). Just wondering if they're really difficult like I know John Lewis can be.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

why don't you want to get the pram from argos?
m/care only match certain shops too, is argos one? I can onlky remember JL and kiddicare
Argos is an online only offer and I've had issues with their deliveries in the past - would just rather not mess with it! Argos is on the list of price match retailers for MC.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Becles, Charlotte sounds cute even when she's being annoying!
Beenie glad you had a better sleep and hope your dog eats the spider.
OOh so I found a Learn & Groove for £10 on my local netmums - is this good? Says it's in good condition.
Also I have a question about [STRIKE] BLW[/STRIKE] only giving finger foods: If the signs a baby is ready for solids include waking in the night for feeds, not seeming satisfied with just milk etc i.e. being more hungry so you give them purees, baby rice etc to fill them up, how does it work that "it doesn't really matter if not much of the finger food is actually eaten as the nutrition still comes from milk until age 1" as read on a BLW website earlier today.
I like the idea of real food for A instead of mush, but wonder if we'd continue to have any issues around night waking etc while he got the hang of actually eating. Not that I even need to be worrying about it just yet anyway.0 -

the BLW theory doesn't subscribe to the babies need food/wake in the night bit IIRC
I don't know anyone in RL that found food helped their LO sleep, in fact a few had the opposite effect including us, Ed got constipated and woke up lots straining0 -
I need lunch ideas for Rhys.. I'm bored, never mind him!
Atm, he has Dairylea sandwiches/toast/pancakes/crumpets/teacakes, cheese sticks, ham strips, cucumber/tomato/lettuce, grapes/blueberries/raisins, yoghurts - not all that obviously (I know he's a gannet, but...)Sometimes biscuits but usually save those for afternoon milk.
What cold pasta could we have? I only have tuna mayo pasta cold but he's not allowed that (salt etc).
All suggestions gratefully received0
