Then give him something else to take on. How about volunteering in school? My counseller said I talked to my OH like I was his mother, I really had to work hard to change and now have a permenantly damaged tongue!

I encourage you to get the same baby jogger as me, in the same fab colour then you upstage me with a snazzy footmuff :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I am so not talking to you.........:rotfl: shhhhh I am wondering if I can order it and convince DH that we have always had itMy_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »I have spent all morning on and off on the debenhams website browsing their sale stuff. Then I persuaded hubby to let me buy some pans that I have been covetting for ages and when I went to pay the site crashed at the 'contacting your bank' stage
I can't access either the bank account or my hotmail account from work so I will have to wait until tonight to see if the sale went through and hope the pans don't sell out in the meantime (I would be gutted).
I bought some much coveted complete set of Meyer pans in their last saleWhich pans are you hankering for ?
Good afternoon all!
I see lots of names on here from when I was on the pg thread
For those who don't know/ remember me, I'm a SAHM to 4 - DD (12), DS1 (10) DS2 (4) and DS3 (Sam - 11 months) Wee baby Sam was born 21/5/09, 2 days late at 5lb 13.5oz and is now almost 16lb - he's not quite reached the bottom centile line yet!!! He's still bf and I did baby led weaning with him - can't recommend it enough compared to the faffing around with mushy stuff!
And there'll be no more babies from me- hysterectomy in Jan of this year due to the lovely damage that my boys did to my pelvic floor
(DD was a c/s)
I'll never catch up on what's been on previous threads, but I shall try and keep up with this one
greent x
ETA: gosh, I'm a tight-wad with my thanks by looks! OOps:oGood afternoon all!Ooohh, someone close to me!
I am in South Herefordshire, close to the Gloucester border - where in Gloucestershire are you?

(not saying that people on here do that) but also I am sure SM would never begrudge anyone talking about there successes and acheivements, it is actually, sometimes, inspiring to read about them and feel that maybe one day you could also be writing similar things about yourself......
I am 30 and dh is 37 and we are still not there yet, he actually came from a far worse upbringing(if you can even call it that) than me, he is trying his best and hopefully will get there in the end, but at the moment things aren't going to plan and I can see he is falling into a depression (despite being on medication) and I don't know what to do because I haven't got the strength at the moment to support him, and all I feel like doing is packing my bags and running away.....
Anyway sorry that turned into a big ramble, possibly incoherant, but I also think that SM 'knows' what needs doing and doesn't need everyone jumping on her over one comment she made. I don't think for one second, she meant that she wished everything would fall into her lap, or that she thought for a second that other people had been handed there well paid jobs on a plate....I also think that getting a driving license is perfect and will give her a confidence boost, if nothing else...I probably have loads more to say and loads of advice I can give, as I can relate to her situation probably better than a lot of posters on here....But I won't.....
On that note I am going to put my whingy baby to bed:)
Back soon xxMel, I am exhausted as I've been in the big city sorting out cancer stuff today but can you nudge me if I forget to PM you tomorrow. Pretty please

MY BABBA TOOK HIS SHOES OFF WHEN I ASKED HIM TO TODAY! YAY!
:TYay for babba
For once, I must disagree with wise MFD as we have a brabantia 50l and it is about 5 years old and still going strong. It blinking infuriates me with the amount of finger prints it shows up but I love it :rotfl:
The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents:D
