A genuine question, not trying to be funny (:p know you love that phrase!) but how can it be unnatural? As in, how can lying on the side be more natural? Surely if they have to be placed and propped on their sides that would be less natural? Does a baby not usually automatically roll onto its back if left to own devices?
K started sleeping on his side occasionally when he was able to get there himself, still prefers his back tho.
When I had DD the advice was to put baby on their side to sleep. For the first 3/4 days, you put them to sleep on their tummies.not on a flat surface.
I posted a link a while back about it around when I posted the link about the bag sling safety warning.
sorry not posting much tonight, boys have decided sleep is for the weak of late!0 -

I'm feeling responsible for SM feeling like she does
and I've not ignored you just got a little fed up with feeling like everytime I tried to make a suggestion to help better yourself, you immediately came back with a reason why you couldn't do it which made me think 'Does she really to better herself and earn more money or is she just 'saying' she wants more but doesn't want to put the effort in to get it?'
Like others have said, you and Phillip both have the potential to bring more money in - there are jobs everywhere and you're lucky you live in a city! Think of the people who come over from abroad and can't speak any English, they get jobs because they are willing to do anything - you just need to be willing to slog it out, get some experience so you can move onto better things.
When I graduated I applied for a hundred jobs (averaging one per day) before I got one. My friends usually think I'm joking when I tell them because they find it so unbelievable that someone like me would need to apply to so many jobs before getting them. They ranged from graduate level jobs to jobs that people still at school could have. Some were shop jobs and some were cleaning jobs both of which I had multiple job experience in. My friend who graduated having never done anything extra curricular or ever had a job before managed to get a Christmas job in Argos but I didn't despite having worked in a few and even managed the college shop. I spent about 5-6 hours six days a week job hunting and then on top of that I started learning Greek, HTML and PHP which made it up to about 9 hours per day six days per week. My parents only believed that I had actually been trying to get a job when my brother took as long when he graduated two years later.
My point being that someone can be willing to work and put in a lot of effort into finding a job and still not get one. I wouldn't say anyone was wrong in trying to make helpful suggestions but having been in the situation of working really hard to get a job and taking ages to get one I can see how it could be hurtful/disheartening to the person they were aimed at even though the intentions were good. And if I hadn't been in the job situation I was in in the past, I'm sure I would have been coming out with all the same suggestions as everyone else too.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

SM - I think you are totally right getting your licence and a car. My friend kept hers, she went from full-time worker to single mum on income support, but still managed to run the car.....she just limited it's use and only had a teeny metro so very cheap tax/ins...
it might also benefit Philip as he would be able to apply for jobs slightly further afield and you could run him in:)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Finally caught up.
Lovely to 'see' that you're back to your cheeky self Weezl. V is/was a side sleeper. When she was tiny i'd roll a blanket into a sausage shape and pop it behind her.
Caz :T for Charlie. We've got these http://www.makaton.org/khxc/gbu0-prodshow/cv-signs-pbook.html
which are handy for everyday signs.
Mel We finally made it to The Rake for lunch yesterday and had very nice, huge burgers. V was impressed with the ducks too.
Happy birthday Boo. The sweeties sound brilliant.
Happy birthday for Alice. Glad she had a nice day today. Will you be doing anything special tomorrow?
 Hi SM.
We've been to Chester Zoo today and had lovely day but I felt a bit mean going without the big two. This is OH's only week off work until July.
Did Glam say she was going to Chester Races? If you are, you'd better behave because OH will be working there.
Clever Benjamin for taking off his shoes. :T (But it won't be so clever when he's taking them off when you're in a hurry to go out!) :rotfl::beer:0 -
