Thanks for all the birthday wishes - Alice's birthday is actually tomorrow but we went out today because we thought it would be quieter. Seven Stories was okay but not as impressive as I'd been led to believe. Alice enjoyed it though. (Although we also went to Ikea which she enjoyed just as much.) Now I need to grind some wheat to make a birthday cake, make said birthday cake, tidy up and wrap Alice's presents.

:rotfl: Sounds like she had a good day out then!

A genuine question, not trying to be funny (:p know you love that phrase!) but how can it be unnatural? As in, how can lying on the side be more natural? Surely if they have to be placed and propped on their sides that would be less natural? Does a baby not usually automatically roll onto its back if left to own devices?
K started sleeping on his side occasionally when he was able to get there himself, still prefers his back tho.

When I had DD the advice was to put baby on their side to sleep. For the first 3/4 days, you put them to sleep on their tummies.

    i was just wondering that...

my mum;s friend was told to put her baby on the side and then spent most nights making sure baby didnt roll onto his back. so i dont understand if a baby will automatically roll onto their back even if they are on their side, why its unnatural

Caz, well done Charlie! Would he normally grumble or grunt for more? And would you like some emails with more signs?

Right I'm off to bed - we have a DVD and a banana to share amongst the three of us.

Someone told me that life would get boring once we had a baby. How wrong they were...... *rolleyes*

SS nice one on molly she'll be running you ragged soon ...
:D for vampire maddy tara ...
happy birthday alice and boo ...
    ((hugs)) to kian ...
    ((hugs)) beenie ..
    :hello: greent ..
    love the pic tia ..
tara i still love you and everything im learning from life im doing it on my own .. i used to work full time but when i transfered i had to go part time due to not having too many staff .. philip is trying to get a job but you wordly things quite well :) .. im doing things the only way i know without missing my kids grow up .. because i can earn all the money in the world once they're grown up enough to look after themselves but you only get a few years where mummy is centre of the world .. i never had my mum (to busy gambling what money we had away) and im torn between being there for my kids and earning money ..
mfd .. i know a car is expensive but it is getting to the point of essential as the good jobs with potential are to far to get to or the buses that way dont start that early i have put it off for as long as i could but its just something thats slowly coming a need .. of course i dont want to be in this job forever im not daft (well maybe alittle bit) but to be honest i havent got a clue what i want to do or where i want to be .. everyone always goes on about where'd they'd be at 25 (career wise) and i just dont know never had the time to focus on it .. ok maybe ive had a little but .. i dont know feel kinda lost ...
jillie nice one for your cousin ..
glam no not your fault i meant no malice in what i said and felt alittle ambushed .. your suggestions have been great but im just telling you my situation your lives are not easy no ones it .. and neither is mine .. i have put in for extra hours .. but that is as far is i can go with cex so im looking else where and earn extra money til i can firgure out what i want to do ..
    tia ((hugs)) ..
    xl yayyyy for shuffling ..
mel thank you .. honestly i could really take learns on how to word things half the time i say things without thinking .. hence the problem i cause ..
    OM ((hugs)) ...

after the other day i thought why keep digging a hole .. if i cause it then maybe i should just go and then that'll be it .. there was never any malice in what i said .. i never meant to sound like a benefit chav or someone who is ungreatful for what she gets .. ive dug myself in to a hole .. i know that and i talk to you about this (well more like moan) because i feel close to you all and although sometimes i do stick my head in the sand but as being friends understood this .. orginally i was happy to take 20 hrs a week as i missed zoe sooooo much but of course i just cant work on it i know this dont you realise i know everything you have told me in the past but i am only 24 .. and trying to make it at what little knowledge i have .. and how bad do you think philip feels when hes handed out so many cvs they know his face and asked "dont you get bored of this" .. everytime we go out we have cvs with us just incase .. i may not have a career but im trying to make a life out of what i have dispite not having much ..

i have thanked you all as to be honest you've all pretty much sumed up how things are ..

ermmmm maybe i should shhh now sorry for the long post x
    :)Still searching .....:)
