Keep meaning to ask, Anyone any recomendations on baby walkers, and when can you use them? A loves to be in an upright position all the time which is fine at night, not so good when i have stuff to do in the day so i was thinking of getting him one but i can't for the life of me remember what age the other 2 were when i got them theirs. At the moment i'm using his pram in it's most upright position to keep him happy but doubt that will keep him occupied for much longer.

SM hope Jayden gets well soon and eeekk hope Phillip does not develop man flu lol

ETA. SOM i thought the same about Cougar town but loved it, Couldn't stop laughing at the one where she quit drinking, reminded me of one of OH's friends when he quit smoking(tried and failed though).

SM, and any one who might be interested, I've just got the new timetables through for our local childrens centre. They've got adult courses like household budgeting, first aid and job skills that I though P might be interested in. There are also "Relax" sessions about hair, beauty and massage and something called the "Ambassor programme" a 14wk course "to increase confidence and raise ability for those looking for a career or simply to get more out of life" for you :)

Might be worth seeing if they have similar at your centre. They'll be free, during school hours and you'll be able to take Jayden along too :)

Wish someone would tell my man that, if he so much as sniffs he gets stuck to the couch unable to move. Yet when i'm choking and struggling to breath and still doing house work he says "women cope better than men any chance of a cuppa" certainly honey where would you like it over your head or the groin region lol

Amber was given this you can also get it in blue which I only just discovered does loads of different things (but the seat won't come off to be washed). We also have the boys old taxi one which is just your plain walker. To be honest, she doesn't use them. She likes to sit up but didn't like the walkers or door bouncer. I tried her as soon as she could hold her head up and wasn't wobbly (4months??).

I'm actually going to get rid of them all, she never uses them and they just take up space.

For being upright, Molly loves the door bouncer and the learn and groove activity station.

Thanks Tia, when my other 2 were young they just had plain walkers think you could buy an activity tray separate for DS1's, now they are all singing and dancing.

Think it may take me a month to decide on one that's dog and baby friendly.

Thanks SS would have loved a door bouncer but with 2 dogs, i have visions of him swinging into the frame from them squeezing past him, the only place i could use it if i locked the dogs away is the kitchen door which could be dangerous with all the days activities in their. Would make weaning fun though LOL

Glad i have no plans today it's raining buckets here.

It was only DS1 who used the taxi one, chicco yellow taxi, plain and basic. But hey, its still going strong! DS2 wasn't allowed one. I actually got a shock at the price of that pink one! It's really not worth it. It's grotty, you cant wash the seat (metal bars mean you can get the plastic bits out), you can't really wash the frame because it's all electronic (I usually wash them in the bath with soapy water to get them clean), and the sounds are downright freaky! Think Fredddy laugh! Oh and it's also really cheap plastic. I would have not spent a fiver on it. I got it for free and I still think I was ripped off!

(sorry anyone who has one and thinks it's great, the idea is great, I'm just disappointed about the quality)
