Well Ts sleeping pattern went back to normal last night so am happy again, I can deal with one wake up between 11pm and 7am. Went to Asda yesterday and got new jeans in the biggest size ive ever been! Actually coulda got away with usual size but wanted roomto be comfy, these will be the only ones I ever buy in that size, I will lose weight! Oh and and I got a Super Man hoodie to frump in :D

Hi guys....just wondered if some of you would mind sharing some breastfeeding experiences?

Thomas is 4 days old now and seems to be feeding well. I was giving him both breasts but since my milk came in i just feed him from 1. He usually feeds for about 30mins and i take him off after he's unlatched and been put back on a couple of times. He usually looks really sleepy by this point. Does this sound right?

I think he must be getting enough as I fed him at 1am then he went right through until 7.30! Even then he wasnt at the point where he was crying for it.

ETA through the day he feeds a lot more frequently varying from every 1.5 to 4 hours
    Sounds fine to me.

    It's very quiet tonight!

I can see some of you are online though :p

three, Sami, MFD, elle and MM.

I was probably fast asleep on the sofa by that point! :o Woke up at 3.30am and rolled into bed, shoving Rhys across a bit on my way. We woke up at 8am :)

He's sat on the floor playing and keeps trumping then turning round to look at me with a big beaming smile, cheeky imp!

No firm plans here today. Depending on the weather when OH gets home, he might start work on the garden but if it's started raining, I'll go into town instead (thankyou for all the sock shop suggestions! :)). Have got to wrap presents for Rhys' room buddy's birthday party tomorrow too, but am all prepared for a change. Really ought to do the washing up now then make Rhys some breakfast :)

Hope everyone has a good day xx
  • Morning all, I was woken by the Benjamin dawn chorus at 6.50am. A bit early but it is impossible to be grumpy when you are woken by a singing babba :)

Benjamin is fed washed and dressed but I haven't made it into the shower yet. Maybe another coffee will motivate me?

Benjamin is bringing me everything he can reach off the dining table - so kind! I have car keys house keys a pen a pack of unopened razor blades a sunhat suncream oh and now a flashing sandal! Good game LOL!

Gill, Amber didn't feed very well so I can tell you what to look out for. She was barely wetting 2 nappies a day, 3 on a good day. She slept all the time and when awake was very lethargic, I had to wake her for feeds. When feeding she didn't suck much and usually her mouth was slack, so not latched on.

So it sounds like you are both doing great!
