Oh no, NMS, that's horrid! *hugs*

We're having a funny lunchtime here.. When we saw the dietician at the beginning of March she suggested we tried Rhys with egg custard, the baked sort you find near the cream cakes. We've only just gotten around to it (I don't like them and OH is supposed to be on a diet). Rhys has just demolished, spoon-fed, the insides of TWO egg custards :rotfl: OH is distraught that he hasn't had any of his own cake while I've been sat here eating a mega slice of carrot cake Rhys is now eating blueberries with lots of enthusastic noises. He hasn't been eating properly (still *enough* but not the vast portions he was having before) for about a week so it's very nice to see him tucking into something again

On the subject of diets, we've dug out the bathroom scales and OH has lost a stone and I've gained 11lbs, woohoo :j

NMS, sorry to hear whats happened, how infuriating, i'd be in bits if someone took my lappy.

My neighbors are moving out. the good ones not the nutters unfortunately, dread to think what will move in, have visions of an alcoholic with a love of loud music and disruptive teens, please let me be wrong.

Well done Elle, Rhys and Mr Elle.

I've just bitten the bullet and cleared out the corner of the kitchen that terrifies me, and it was even worse than I'd expected and with bonus giant spiders lurking at the back. We now have three bags of rubbish to take downstairs plus the cardboard recycling and a metric ton of bottles, and the husband gets the task of vacuuming and cleaning the kitchen floor because I have had enough.

I just sorted through all my paper work, and i still have bank statments from 2007! So they have been torn up and are on their way down to the recycle bin

I did find 5 second class stamps and £9 in tesco vouchers though!
Oh and a CD-R which is handy as i didn't want to buy a load just to burn 3 songs onto 1 CD

SS - no, it was just random and we were unlucky. There have been a few other attempts on other houses in the street. We have actually been told a name (not by the police - they have closed the case already), and it's someone I went to both primary & secondary school with. He is a scumbag and has actually been sent down for burglary this week!!

Aw well, we still got off lightly, the insurance will replace most things and luckily I'm lazy and didn't move anything off the old lappy onto the new computer

Oh.. sucess continues in Elle Towers

I've been trying to convince Rhys for weeks that sometimes, if he's playing on the floor, and he fancies a little nap, it's okay to lay his head down on the cushions and nod off - he doesn't need to fall asleep on me all the time. This afternoon, he's finally done it He was sat watching the tv (Something Special, is it? With signing..) and laughing along then he reached for a soft teddy and snuggled up on a cushion. Too cute for words! :smileyhea

OH has cleared the garden of junk (old window frames, anyone? Yes, it really was that bad!) and it's all in the back of the car to go to the tip later. Might take two trips, methinks!

Bags still need to go down, but the kitchen floor is mopped, baby laundry and grown up laundry is done and dried, the bedlinen is about to go into the dryer (Molly mashed an avocado slice into it), the kitchen corner is clean, the dishes are done and put away, the sink is washed, the counter wiped, various bits of stuff put away, the floor in the office cleaned and our bedframe put on the local classifieds. I'm going to photograph my ebay stuff tonight and spend tomorrow using Turbo Lister ready for the Big Sale. Husband is making dinner, Molly is playing in the baby cage and I'm feeling very productive. Hurrah!
