Keep meaning to ask, Anyone any recomendations on baby walkers, and when can you use them? A loves to be in an upright position all the time which is fine at night, not so good when i have stuff to do in the day so i was thinking of getting him one but i can't for the life of me remember what age the other 2 were when i got them theirs. At the moment i'm using his pram in it's most upright position to keep him happy but doubt that will keep him occupied for much longer.
I don't know anything about baby walkers as we never had one but Alice always liked being upright and we found a Bumbo seat and a baby bouncer helped.

Hi guys....just wondered if some of you would mind sharing some breastfeeding experiences?

Thomas is 4 days old now and seems to be feeding well. I was giving him both breasts but since my milk came in i just feed him from 1. He usually feeds for about 30mins and i take him off after he's unlatched and been put back on a couple of times. He usually looks really sleepy by this point. Does this sound right?

I think he must be getting enough as I fed him at 1am then he went right through until 7.30! Even then he wasnt at the point where he was crying for it.

ETA through the day he feeds a lot more frequently varying from every 1.5 to 4 hours

Hi :) I'm sure lots have posted about this by now, but I'm trying to catch up on several pages :D

Sounds perfectly normal to me - pretty much how all 4 of mine were in early days. Make sure you alternate breasts at feeds, though :)

    [STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] :) Afternoon!

Had a lay in and woke up at 11:15am, annoying as i didn't want one and told OH i was going to get up before him so he would have a lay in. I was in such a deep sleep i didn't even realise they left the room this morning :o

We are having a MAJOR sort out today. Which translates to, i own so much crap OH wants me to get rid of half of it.
We found out we can move as long as we give a months notice, i thought we had to stay for the year, so :j
We are looking for a 3 bedroom house now ready for when #2 happens.

Apparently the less "crap" i own the easier it will be to move :rotfl:

Lily went 6 hours between feeds last night :j She didn't sleep for the whole 6 hours though, she usually takes about an hour to settle down, but OH does it :)

I think she prefers the hungry baby milk, when she has it she will happily drink 5ozs in one go. With the stage 1 she only has 3ozs then will fall asleep and then wake and want more

    Any idea why?

Awww she keeps smiling, at what, i dont know. Usually the corner of the room :)

She makes these cute little noises as if shes talking to herself :D

dont know then .. maybe shes hungrier with the other one so stays awake to drink it or likes it better .. you never know with kids they're odd little things :rotfl:...

awwww proud mummy ... believe me you'll blink and she'll be 7 .. well thats how i feel :D x
