I like lively. I like them being home - i'm abit of a sap when it comes to my girls and totally the opposite when it comes to people in general .:rotfl:

jakes got a morning in reception class today ready for september, he just ran in had to run after him to get a kiss:rotfl:

Aw glam hope jacks eye is ok, yes accidents happen, jasmine banged her face right in front of me the other day, but what can you do apart from keep them strapped to you 24/7, and when jake banged his head the other week, i saw it happen and couldnt stop it, your OH is being really unfair blaming you, if you've got this far with no accidents you're doing well anyway! im sure jake has a bump a week these days!!

Does anyone know of any safety device that keeps blind cords out of the way, or clips them together maybe? the living room ones are fairly low and with jasmine climbing about on everything they would be easy for her to get to, cant change the blinds cos its a rented house and couldnt afford to anyway,

OH is on a week off work this week and seems to think this means a week off everything, he's only just got up, if i ask him to do something he says "well what would you do if i was at work you'd have to do it yourself" argh he's a idiot, would love to know when my annual leave is!!!

If he was there why wasn't he watching Jack? Does he not know that you would already be upset without him being a !!!!?

Not suggesting for a second that you are at fault...just that we parents naturally get upset when our babies get hurt.

Yea every now and then we argue.

He wasn't there when Jack bumped his eye, he was working out and talking to his mum. He shouted for me to take J out the highchair because he was whinging so I did and he bumped his face. If I had been on my mobile or distracted by something else than I would openly admit it was my fault but I'd just prevented him smacking his head so had my arms behind him to catch him therefore couldn't grab him when he lunged to the side.

He gets really upset if J gets hurt so lashes out and instantly blames me but doesn't stop to think that I'm upset as well.

Well, I taught him a lesson anyway. I went straight up to bed at 8pm without cooking tea or doing anything. So this morning was 'I had to wash up my own protein bottles and my cereal thing for work, and what am I supposed to have for my lunch you didn't make me anything?'
No, you damn right I didn't make you anything you cheeky !!!!!!. I'll not be doing anything all weekend for him either until he apologies and admits he overreacted by blaming me.

Don't get me wrong, once the argument got going I was just as bad as him BUT there wouldn't have been an argument if he hadn't kicked off. I might have split the wood in the bathroom door when he locked himself in there to 'pretend to call the police' (cos he's a child!) and I tried to kick the door in :whistle:

Glam - I am not even going to comment on what a prat your OH is.

Caz - forgot to say, I too had a giggle at the lady thinking you weren't Charlie's mum. You have a lot to cope with though and do remarkably well. I really hope your break next week does you good. It will be nice to get away for a few days.

JM - we've had a few bumped heads so far but no cuts or bruises. He's so blimming active it's not surprising he gets bumps.
I quite often ask OH to pass the roll of Bubble Wrap when he goes off on one!

Good for you, stay strong and don't give in. Have things improved since you went back to work like you had hoped or are you still doing everything?

Makes a change from it being my OH who's the tit.

But hugs for you. Your OH needs to get a grip, bumps, cuts, breaks it's all going to happen, and there will be nothing you can do to stop it.
Glad to see you can stand up for yourself, but :eek: at breaking the door. I'm more likely to throw things :rotfl:
