Thank you, I think she is gorgeous too;)
have I forgotten anything? Do Tax credits still inform child benefit....i'm sure they did when I had K last year!!!
Mel, from what i remember, It's:
Register birth, get Birth certificate,
Send birth Certificate with completed form from bounty pack to Child Benefit.
Receive letter back from Child benefit, then contact Tax Credits with CB number.
Which is why decreasing the time you have to claim TC to 1 month after birth is so stoooopid.
Edit: Download Child benefit form Here0 -
Boo, Jillie and SM,
I'm another one who will need to meet you all in Manchester next Wednesday, I know where I am going, but to get to Heaton Park from where I am is a nightmare so I will need to get the tram and that means coming into Manchester 1st. Is that OK ladies??
On lunch at work at the moment, I feel like throwing my phone out of the window along with the computer, some clients (and surveyors for that matter) can be so obnoxious

Well, saw the HV today and Freddie is now 11 weeks and 12lbs 6oz, so he's catching up well...Redstar - Freddie is a big boy for 11 weeks! I can't remember Amber's weight then but i do know it was nowhere near that!!
I've just been to get Thomas weighed, he's 9 weeks and weighs 12lb 4oz  He was on the 50th centlle but has gone above that now. He doesnt look heavy but he's tall (he's in 3-6 mths vests now coz the others are too short!) and dense lol
I asked the HV about last nights choking incident and she's advised me to put a bowl of boiling water in the bedroom with him to unblock his nose.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Oh yeah, doctors and dentist!!
you need to send off the short birth certificate. When i rang tax credits for my pack they asked if i needed a child benefit form but i got mine in my bounty pack.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Glad you had a good sleep GISI. Good luck with your meeting.
Also, I meant to comment on your thoughts about your birth. Not really got much to say, just that I hope you find the answers you are looking for. And you know that there is no such thing as a "normal" birth, so I don't need to tell you that it's just bad wording by some people!
SB - I am having a look at the My City deals site and have registered. I never paid any attention before. Not sure when we will find time to go out for dinner though! We have vouchers for a Japanese restaurant, so might book that for next week.
3 - Whereabouts do you mean by South West Scotland? I am near Glasgow, but Tia is more southernly than me.
They had £5 Wagamama giftcards for £1 a little while back
Just letting you know that you receive £6 credit for everyone you refer who buys a deal. They currently have a national deal of £1 for £10 of online chocolates which means if you refer DH and he buys the deal then you get £6 in your account  (the deal finishes at midnight).
I have only just used up my credit as my Mum, Dad, sisters, aunties, cousins and IL's all spent a £1 on Wagamama!
:D

Another good one is have them in the bathroom when you have your shower/bath as that helps as well.
