CAFC - I had an epidural with ds1 and suffered a bit of mild/moderate backache, but no pains as such. I do think you are best phoning someone.

    Did you say he's a PS3 man? ;)

    Oh God _pale_

Husband has just taken down the rubbish and a bunch of garbage juice has leaked all over the floor. We don't have time to clean it beyond a quick wipe _pale_

Would waking up for a brief minute affect the 3 hours continuous sleep? I always wake up about 6am because im thirsty.
Assuming you sit up and have a drink then I would have thought it might. You could always try taking your temperature at that time (before you have a drink obviously) and see if that helps.

Can I ask the advice of anyone who has had a c-section? My wound still hurts (as to be expected only been 12 days LOL) but I have got horrendous pain in my back, on my left side about 4 inches up from my backside, in line with my epidural entry point. I dont know if the two are linked, but it is so painful. Nothing I do seems to help it, and Im just wondering if its just a side effect of epidural. He was telling me all the side effects but at that point i could barely remember my own name!

Cafc It probably is just a side effect after my first where they tried to get an epidural in (it didnt happen) i found for months i was getting really nasty back pains around the entry site they did ease off eventually but even now 12 years on i still get the odd niggle there probably once or twice a year. They do warn you about it but like you say your completely out of it by that point. Get it checked out though to be safe :-)

    Phew, what a morning!
Amelie's first day at Pre-school (she's going to go for two days a week until the end of term so she can get to know some of the children before starting school in September.
My car's still in the garage, as the gearbox died last week, so mum was going to pick us up at 8.30am and take us to the pre-school.
Husband's had a sore toe for days, and woke up this morning unable to put any weight on it - says he's got to go to work (20 miles away), so can I take him and collect him this evening. Mum's just reminded me that after Amelie's pre-school finishes at 3pm, she's got swimming at 4pm (I'd completely forgotten, we used to go on Tuesdays).
Phew, I think I'm going to retrain as a taxi driver, at least then I'll get paid!
Got back just in time to get a call from the garage. Lovely garage has managed to find a second-hand gearbox, but I still need a new clutch etc and it's going to cost around £700
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
