Hi - I can't unfortunately :( - too far away and family commitments... plus hubby is too cynical about internet friendships so I would have to fudge the truth and I'm not very comfortable with that...

Please forgive me and I'm looking forward to hearing how it goes though.

totally forgiven and of course we'll tell all when we get back :D ...

right really off to bed x
    :)Still searching .....:)

I've put a lot of effort into taking Elliot out to get him away from our neighbour situation/problems, it's wearing me out a bit to be honest. I am a nervous wreck coming home by myself, so have been meeting my OH in town to walk home with him at the end of the day. So my week involves leaving home fairly early, going to my parents house or town or baby group etc, then coming home teatime with hubby.

My family aren't helping right now either, well half of them i should say. keely.x

Hugs Keely - that's a dreadful situation to be in! :( You shouldn't be scared to go home? Although Beenies situation is absolutely crap and not a good example, have you tried to complain?

A little birdie told me I was missed and was given a bump to come on and say HI !!My baby boy has been home for 1 year today ...... how nice an anniversary to celebrate ?? :D

Fabby anniversary to celebrate! And how fast has that year gone!

Quite possibly nekkid... Although I'll keep my sea bands on if nobody minds...

    Whit wooo! :p

Now if everyone doesn't mind, please stop posting so I have some chance of catching up.

Just has a scary moment when T was coughing and choking in his moses basket:eek:
Got him out and he was struggling to breathe properly and wheezing. He was trying to cry but couldnt do it properly so I just kept him upright and amd kept patting/rubbing his back until he could cry properly.

He's been really dribbly lately so think it must have just been that. He was quite distressed (probably more to do with being woken up!) so I've fed him until he's calmed down. We've got his mattress propped up with folded towels now. Do you think that's the right thing to do?? Worried it might happen again when we're asleep :(

Ok if you want city centre, any of these last minute ones (ETA the last minute one, you'll have to change the 'sort' function to Manchester Arndale - it won't let me link to that) (obviously look for better prices once you decided) are all near the Arndale/Market St/Kings St (NOT MSE shops :rotfl:). Stop at the Macdonald on page 2 as they are a bit far for shopping. Check trip advisor too, Sachas is NOT good (used to be a brothel ;)).

For near the Trafford Centre (lots of shops and food but maybe too similar to any other shopping centre), Premier Inn, either TC south (on the grounds of TC) or West (used to be a tulip and nice rooms according to my old boss - just across the road from TC or could walk to the chill factore for more food and a few shops).

There is a premier inn at Heaton Park too but nothing to do there.

If you go for city centre, you can walk there from train station. If TC, depending on the time of your train, I could pick you up? I can collect you from either for the meet if you like (or think Jille is meeting SM at Picadilly). Was it Boogie who lives near TC too?

Gonna post now but not sure if links work.....HTH xxx

ETA Just seen your other post. Picadilly is aboput 30 mins ish from the meet but I could come for you and we'd just be a bit late? Or Jillie could hang on with SM for you? Would be cheaper than paying for another hotel for you...

Right, people in/around/near Liverpool-ish - is anyone free for an impromptu meet on Monday? It needs to be somewhere with good public transport since I won't have the husband or the car.

Awww Gill, you must have had a fright. Holly chokes all the time and we are so used to it that one day when she was properly choking, we hardly batted an eyelid! She is always choking on her water from her sippy cup. She is older than T though but what you are doing sounds fair enough. Not sure whether the raised mattress will make any difference unless he is congested, but it won't do any harm so worth a shot! Is the moses basket by your bed anyway because I'm sure you would hear him if he did start coughing.

If you are worried, you could always call NHS24 to see if they would suggest anything. Or maybe someone else here will have some good advice.
