I did wonder that myself.I don't think it's strange at all that you feel annoyed. You've probably expended a lot of mental effort accepting something that you didn't want so therefore him changing his mind all of a sudden at this late stage is bound to be annoying to some extent.
But why would I still want him to get it done? Maybe it is for a vindictive reason. I want him to get it done to get him back for talking me into agreeing, then backing down....or is it the case that I am genuine in my reasons, how will I even know?
Feeling a bit confused.
Tia - He says he is concerned about the increase risk of prostate cancer.....and that he never considered how he would feel about his decision if the unthinkable ever happened!! Especially as it is only a 40% success rate at reversal....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Yays for clapping, exam passing, teeth, interviews and anything else I have forgotten (oh, OH's apparent low risk of lumpy man bits!). Hugs for poorly ankles and poo HO's. And general hugs to all that would like them.
Caz - no problem about the hotel. Do you want to be city centre or near the Trafford Centre (good if you need to go out by yoursen on Tues pm, lots of food places and somewhere to mooch) or near Heaton Park? How many of you are coming and what's your max budget? I can't collect you on Tues afternoon (unless you arrive before 2ish?) but can prob pick you up for Heaton Park on the Wed if needs be? I also can't do dinner cos I need to be home to put C to bed at 6 ish
. Is anyone else meeting you or you just gonna have some chill time?
Let me know your preferences and I'll see what I can do.
xxx

Evening all..
:j for sleep, teeth, clapping, interviews, exams, chocolates, time away, fruit loaf and supportive fabulous Susan!
:grouphug: for those with poorly ankles, indecisive husbands, broken mixers and crappy deaf housing officers!
3, did the social worker turn up? Will give MM a nudge and let her know you were asking after her
The physio is finally "very impressed" with Rhys - woohoo!
Oh, and soon we can start *learning* how to stand up... that'll be a very quick lesson then
Rhys spent the morning at Mum's then they came back here for physio and then went for a walk to Mum's friend's house where Rhys sat on the floor playing and giving Mum's friend's mum big beaming smiles. She's quite poorly (old age decline, I think) and Mum's friend is her carer and can't get out much anymore, so they said it was fab to see Rhys and he really brightened the lady's day
Sad day for the area here - a young engineer was killed in an explosion/fire at a local oil refinery. All our (chemicals industry) sites are quite closely linked and everyone knows everyone else on the H&S/Compliance/Fire side, so very sombre moods today. OH had worked with the guy in the past too
The pictures scared me a bit as it brought home what OH could get caught up in if it happened on our site too
On a slightly brighter note, I walked into work (from the car park, not home!) with one of the big bosses this morning and he asked how I was getting on in my new job. I struggled to answer because although I wanted to tell him I was really, really enjoying it, he's also in charge of HR and his wife is my ex-kinda-boss so I don't want it getting back to them how much I truly disliked HR!
Explained to my new boss what happened in case if gets back to him that I wasn't massively enthusiastic about the new job... argh, so political!
Tonight I'm sorting out lots of bits and pieces for one of the girls at work who's pregnant with boy/girl twins, due in October. Have got all sorts of bits that Rhys never wore because he was the wrong size at the wrong time of the year
At work tomorrow, then meeting up with Rhys' ex room buddy on Friday and possibly the nurse who looked after them both when they were very poorly - she's moving out of the area soon for a new job in paediatric A&E in Leeds so we're trying to get together before she goes!
Hope everyone is well xx0 -
Evening all. Hope everyone is ok.
Still busy busy here - have been to the pub after work today for a friends birthday - DH took Izzy there after nursery and I joined them when I got there. Izzy amazed everyone by her ability to eat more chips than should be able to fit into such a small person, and got very cross when I told her it was time to leave. That's my girl
We have cracked the sleep thing - last few nights I have been giving Izzy milk in the living room, then saying night night (seeing as DH isn't always here at bedtime we say night night to the teddies in the toy box and the babies on the wall too!), teeth, then ready for bed and then into bed. She is now saying bye bye to me, and not worrying at all as I leave the room. We had a really bad night a few nights ago when she kept waking up for no reason, but I know that will happen from time to time. She is only properly waking up if there is something wrong, and slept through fine last night, so it is all good
I hope everyone is ok - will read back the last few pages shortly, when I've got myself some salad to top up the few chips Izzy let me eat before she scoffed them all!
