Big meeting here at 10am - my year of work-related trauma may be over today....although that could well end up with me out of a job in 3 months time, I wouldn't even care about that at this point, I just want it to be over.
My fingers and toes are crossed for MFD, I am very pleased for Fritha and Aless and anyone else who had good sleep!
, and I am beaming
at Susan and if Beenie does not take her up on her offer I will be very stern at her. 0 -
Well done Celia now keep up the good sleeping

Bruno hope E feels better soon x
Beenie i really feel for you and to treat you like that is awful! i really hope things get sorted asap for you x
I am looking into train times etc for the meet, however i dont know where im going so need help with the station names etc! does it also mean i must take a baby lol? the real reason im looking into going is so i can steal 3's Stokke when shes not looking
Thank you so much for all your advice and pms they were all very much appriciated and i have decided to take a few days away and hopefully tie it in with the meet
my head is in a whirl and my house is a bombsite. I think things like this are hard enough but when you also have a child like Charlie needing so much attention it just makes me scared. Luckily he is off to nursery and sat all morning by the window waiting for the bus to arrive! better go Erin is poting things out the letter box again lol! What's for you won't go past you0 -
I have three brothers and used to swear I was only ever going to have daughters. Usually this was after getting wet feet when I went to the toilet.hehe Susan! I don't know but if I have a boy that's what I'm thinking!
In an ideal world I would like to have between 3 and 5 children, all of which would be boys. I come from a large family of girls so would prefer boys but obviously wouldn't be upset if we were having a girl.
Ideally I want at least one of each but I'm not too particular now.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Caz - you need to get to Manchester Picadilly and yes you must bring baby!
Elle - that's fab news! I too would be having a lazy day if I was you!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Caz I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be very pleased if you could make the meet

Bless Erin, that's really cute!
I was drinking out of a plastic cup yesterday and Alfie was reaching out for it, so when I finished the drink I let him take it and he held it with both hands, lifted to his mouth then tipped it up like he was drinking from it!! It was so cute!0 -
I do! But it would either be Benjamin William or Benjamin John (both OH's middle names! not copying
) and then he couldn't have funky initials as a nickname! Actually OH really liked Benjamin so I'll probably get vetoed! I do plan on havign a few so it will work it's way in there somewhere!
BJ could be considered funky initials lol
Redstar - we would have the perfect baby if we could combine Thomas and Freddy's sleep patterns lol
Thanks for sharing krystal and mfd, makes me feel better relying on swing to get him to sleep. he does get really sleepy after a feed but wakes up when i transfer him to his basket, or if something happens to disturb him (like a nappy fill) then i've no chance getting him off again.
Susan - i'd love a girl but just cant imagine (my imaginery baby!) being anything but a boy atm!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
what time is the meet? im looking at trains for that day but may come the day before and stay?
ETA train leaves Edionbutgh 7.42 arrives 10.56 and is only £19!What's for you won't go past you0 -
Caz When I win my new Stokke, you can have the old one.

I'm a bit rubbish with Manchester, but it's really easy to get to from anywhere North West.
I thought it was a long way for you to come for the meet, but if you're getting away for a few days on your own, it makes more sense.
Wherever you decide to stay, i'm sure it'll be near to one of us who can take you to the meet/meet you somewhere.
I wish I had a spare room so you could come here - but all I can offer is a bottom bunk or a blow up bed in the living room.
I've just been offered a lovely little break away, but it's Argyll and I don't know if I can manage to drive for 6+ hours.

Think we said 11am meet at Heaton park, think SM's train from Sheffiled normally gets in at 10.20am.
That's cheap!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Gill - I find sometimes that T wants to go to sleep but just wont! On these occasions I try to make sure there isnt too much going on ie TV and washing machine at the same time as it seems to annoy her, also not too much visual stimulation. Once she's out I find I can put the noise back on and it doesnt bother her. Also I asked HV about her lack of sleep as some days she only has two (10/15min) naps and thats it. HV said some babies just doent need as much and even all those lil naps they have after feeding will add up. I dont know if that helps, but I do sympathise I find T sleeps much better with more daytime naps but its hard to fit them in some days with various activities and appointments.
EA - Yeay for Lily holding her bottle, hope the toy turns up soon. Oh any news on the flat?
MFD - Hope you get a god outcome today.
Fritha - yeay for C sleeping through
Becles - poor fur baby, Harvey had this in september and it caused me lots of sleep loss and heartache as he just wouldnt function with the collar, he would just stand in the living room and not sit, lie down, eat or drink. I had to call the vets in the end and she suggested hime wearing a T shirt over his back end , it looked tres funny but didnt bother him so way better as he could get on with everything including eating chews
heres a pic..
I had to sew up the neck hole so it was only big enough for his tail and then tied it round his middle.
Well have a very rolly baby this morning, she keeps rolling on to her tummy and then lies there for 3/4 min and then starts shouting lol, she can nearly get back tho so maybe she's just practicing! I flip her back and she rolls back again *sigh* Had a hectic day yesterday with a ton of house work including emptying/cleaning out the fish tank as our last fish died. Also finally got around to opening T a savings acount
