GISI she did indeed love the water, although a bigger boy (about 10yo) directed a little waterfall into her face and she got a bit upset.

She is now waving a pen around on my knee after being caught unpacking the nappy bin

    Hi ladies and gents,

has everyone been enjoying the sunshine? We went to the park earlier then OH has gone to watch the football. He keeps texting to say he won't be much longer but I'm sure he won't be home for hours, not bad considering he was doing dinner! Also tesco messed up my order and are meant to be collecting it but haven't so I have a fridge full of food I can't eat and am nearly £90 out of pocket  They'd better come tomorrow.

Isla officially hate's being warm, she's been unbearably miserable all weekend and has definately earned her nickname of grumpelina :(

Beenie - fairies will fly tomorrow, I've put a pic on fb of Isla's on the pram. She seem's to like it!

Off to read back, I hope all babies and parents are well x x

ETA - Welcome CAFC, Landen is a lovely name.

Mel (((hugs))) that all sounds pants. What a stupid system that lets you leave details in like that. I hope things have settled down and you're getting to enjoy T's tiny days.

Gisi - why would wedges be enough?! I used to be veggie and hated when people assumed by offering me as a main what they were having as a side to their meal I'd be satisfied! The rapids sound great fun and go Henry with his new noise!

They substituted all the wine for one not in the deal, 3 mains weren't there and 1 dessert wasn't in the deal so I got charged full price for everything! I didn't hear the driver as we were out in the back but when I rang he said he'd bring it on his way home so I couldn't give it all back to him because he was off home.

    OH's just got home

Becles - Its a variation on the American football/soccer player Landon Donovan (who scored in their match yesterday btw LOL)....

Ah I don't follow Amercian Football :o Thanks for the explanation. It's nice when there is a meaning behind a name. Those photo's are gorgeous too - he's lovely xx

Not sure if I mentioned it but there's an outdoor circuit class starting up near me next week. It's pay as you go and only £3.50 a session which seems very :money: to me.

That is good value. You'll have to let me know how you get on.

In the church I used to go to, if someone was sick for a long time or had an accident or something, a group of ladies would step in and pop round to do cleaning, take meals round, run errands - anything that needed doing.

A lady was in hospital and her husband was a veggie and he was sick to death of people taking food round for him and the boys, and just assuming he'd have potato and veg sides, while the boys tucked into meat dishes. I'd just studied veggies in cookery at school, so I took round a veggie casserole with cheese scones baked on the top like dumplings, and he was absolutely over the moon with it :)

Been in a foul mood due to the football. There was just no passion or team play at all and I'm disgusted with the performance. Hopefully Capello will leave and we'll get an English man in charge who'll pick players who are hungry to play for their country.
Here I go again on my own....

Boo, they can't resell chilled/fresh food so if it's taking up room you need take it right out :)

    Becles, that's horribly inconsiderate :(

My friend who's staying is out with her German friends. She said she'd be back by seven for dinner so she could spend some time with us, it's after 8pm and she's not here. We're still stuffed from lunch, but still I was hoping to hang out with her.

Also, EA's that girl is being a besombesom. She's saying that EA should make sure 5 month old Lily should go to lots of places with lots of people because if she doesn't now she won't be able to go to school :rotfl:

I think Landon Donovan plays for the USA soccer team- he played against England.

That is awful about the poor veggie man. I feel his pain! I was even more annoyed about this BBQ as because it was a hen weekend I'd put money in for food and drink (the same amount as everyone else.

I agree about the football, most of them looked like they couldn't be arsed :(.
