EA - poor you with people viewing and at poo times too, can't you make excuses for the morning viewings, tell the you have a baby class and won't be in!
Nope, they said if im not in they will do the viewing anyway. They have their own keys to let themselves in.
The first viewing they did, i was in the kitchen and i saw them in the garden about to walk in, the letting agent let herself in without checking to see if i was in
I dont trust anyone in the house, i know leaders are to be trusted. But tbh, the girl is a tiny little thing and 2 people could easily overpower her and steal all my stuff.
Also they will lock the kitchen door, which means locking the cat in or out, and i dont want that.
And (sorry im going on lol) most of the stuff in this house is our stuff, and the agency keep telling people that it comes with the house  I was like "Err no it doesn't, this is my sofa"
Then she made me list what isn't mine... *sigh*
Anyway, Hi everyone!
Welcome CAFC, Landen is very cute!
Did you post your birth story?
DH has bought me Viva Pinata for the xbox, its so good! :j Its also designed for 3yrs +
Lily is 16 weeks on Wednesday! I thought she was 15weeks, and she has her jabs on Friday.
Also, today is my 1 year BFP anniversary0 -
Landen has joined the world, June 18th by emergency c section, weighing in at 8lbs 7....I've become a mummy.....and thats well scary!!!!
Congrats and welcome :j
I've never heard the name Landen beforeWhere does the name come from and does it have a meaning? I like knowing things like that!
I'm not keen on Disney either and going to Disneyland would be my idea of the holiday from hell, not the holiday of a lifetime
Sorry to hear about the xbox Mel. Mine have my card stored on their profiles as they're both have live memberships, but they are under strict instructions not to buy anything else. I'd be livid if they spent anything on the card without my permission. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Unlike the PS3, microsoft then just allow anyone to use the card, and you can't even delete the details without going on the PC to do it!!!! I HATE microsoft. Dh is blaming me for not monitoring him more closely, I know I should have been but I've been a bit scatty lately, what with being pregnant and looking after a toddler aswell as the older two!!
I feel like ripping in to ds1 and removing the console and all sorts but I am not sure if he realised exactly what he was doing, and the stupid console uses a points system so he would never have known how much he was spending anyway!
We ended up shouting (very loudly) at each other and someone called the police.....
I am soo tired too and wanted to go for a nap and even managed to get T fed and changed in time for K to have his nap, but now I can't go and have a nap with all this going on.
(in tears xx)
oooh I can just imagine.. Mine are on a TOTAL console ban at the moment.. ratbagging gits that they are!
I'd be tempted to remove the xbox until you have reclaimed the money from him.Evansangel wrote: »DH has bought me Viva Pinata for the xbox, its so good! :j Its also designed for 3yrs +
We have that too.. they all just argue over who gets to go on it first!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
God right, cant remember who'd written what questions now LOL I blame my drugs
Beenie - Thats ok hun, my mum turned up with one, but it might be carp so bring yours too LOL or if you know anyone else who would benefit, pass it on to them, but be cool if you wanna pop round next week anyway and say hello and we can sow the seeds of friendship between respective babbiesLet me know anyways.
RSA - My madwife is hilarious so I dont think she'd moan at me too much, she seems to live in the real world.... yet the staff at the hospital would just leave me alone for 6 hours with baby next to me, yet I'm not supposed to lift, or bend.... but all the carp for changing him is in a cupboard below knee height.....etc etc.....
I made sure today I was having a quieter day though, so no walkies today, plus I begrudgingly had to put my dvt stockings back on after taking them off to wash them and winging 2 days of not wearing them...... and no amunt of outfit planning can make these stockings look good!
Gill - Thanks, its all going ok so far, although I've been left on my own now LOL Mum has gone back to sisters house to pack her stuff and then they are both coming round here to watch the football (im tempted to go to bed), then my mum is trekking back down south (300 mile journey) and my sister is staying with me till DH gets home from work about 9:45pm..... although with my sister its like the blind leading the partially sighted. Landen is the first baby she's held, so we have to give her a bed pillow to lay him on :rotfl:till she gets more comfy.....
EA - I've not posted my birth story, mainly because I cant remember half of it, well actually probably 80%..... I can tell you I went in to be induce, had drugs, an epidural, spazzed out and wasnt breathing and then had a emergency c section, but anything else, you'd have to ask my mum and dh at the moment.....:A
Part of me also doesnt actually want to relive it. I know I spent 5 hours petrified that something was happening to him and noone was telling me, i threw up so many times as well my throat was burning...so Im living in a bubble of complete ignorance and just glad he's in the world :T
Becles - Its a variation on the American football/soccer player Landon Donovan (who scored in their match yesterday btw LOL).... I didnt like it with an "o", people kept saying it too much like London with a chavvy accent.....
in terms of meaning it means from the long hill, and is actually an english name, but is mainly used in America.
Started getting a bit annoyed with the hospital staff especially of a certain age not listening, and when they asked his name, I told them, and then they say "Brandon" and Im like "no Landon" - how difficult is it to pay attention!!!
Added my facebook link to his photos for those not on my friends list from the preggers thread

Aww glad you're doing ok. If you do start getting your memory back re the birth then I would definitely advise you to either talk it through with someone, post it on here or write it out for your own benefit. I found Thomas's birth very traumatic (nothing like you went through tho) and totally blamed myself for things that had gone wrong, until Dh was able to rationalise it for me. I found that posting it on here and reliving it that way was a major help in getting my head around it. I'm the sort of person who keeps things to myself and dwells on them for ages, and I think you maybe are too so thought I'd just tell you what had worked for me x
Also take Beenie's chair as well as the one you've got and see which one Landen (and you!) likes best as T really isn't too keen on his unless the dreadful music or sounds of the sea are playing lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
I did think that as well, I'll probably write it out for myself iff I ever regain enough of my memory to make any sense of it.....
I havent hit the point of blaming myself for how it went yet. Freakishly when we had follow up appointment with consultant after week plus of being sent to day assessment for bp profiles, I said to DH that I knew I wasnt getting a straight forward birth.... call it sixth sense or whatever....DH thought I just meant being monitored, have to have waters broken etc.....
But like you said, I'm pretty similar to you, so when I have THAT day of feeling like Im total rubbish at all of it, I potentially will end up thinking I was to blame....
But Im prepared to know that day will most likely hit, and I'm ok with that. DH is worried that I'll try to carry on too much, and not discuss it. I did point out Im unlikely to trigger a conversation about it but if he asks me, then its easier for me to open up, then to try and start the conversation.
I think everyone is worried I'm going to get PND which I'm classed as a risk for.......and having the birth we had only adds to that likelihood according to the madwifeWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Afternoon folks, welcome CAFC. I remember you the first time you were on the pregnancy thread, so glad to see you here
You've got the same RL name as me too lol, Landen looks gorgeous in your pics!!!

Oh and hello CAFC:)
FIL has been and gone, he brought a cute little dress and a jacket for T, chocolate and Toy story 3 for the boys and a big box of Roses chocs for me:)
Things are calming down here....ds1 gets a bit upset everytime we bring up the xbox thing.....He is such a lovely lad, I really don't think he realised exactly what he was doing. I feel bad for telling him off so much, but i'm not telling him that. At the end of the day if he had read it properly, or come and checked with us first then this could have all been avoided. Still going to make him pay the money back with his pocket money, at least half of it anyway.
xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0
