my mil is lovely but a bit mad at times and says some really silly things. T is the spit of his dad, looking at DH's baby pics u'd think it was same child! I love that he looks like DH but it drives me mad when she says "can you see anything from you in him Gill?"!! Then when i point out what he has got from me (same shape feet, big feet lol, long arms and legs) she tries to say their from her! urm excuse me but she's average height with normal arms and legs where i'm 5ft 7 and really struggle buying jackets etc coz arms are always too short.
This would make my blood boil
I have all sorts of angry retorts about carrying him and giving birth to him rolling round in my head but my fingers are too angry to type them.please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Gill I would poke her with a stick.
MFD, play your turn, I have to go out again soon
Oh, and I meant to tell you all a funny story. Molly has taken to blowing raspberries whenever anyone does one at her. This morning, we were all in the bed together. I was vaguely awake, Molly was just stirring and Husband was asleep. He farted and Molly bounced up to sitting upright and went

Afternoon!
Out at a practice but the systems down *rollseyes*
Sami - When I had my appendix out we didn't dispatch in our usual 3 days so just messaged everyone to explain why and that we would send 1st Class instead of 2nd. If you paid for 2nd Class and they posted it 1st Class then I guess they think it's OK.
Krystal - will C go back off if you bring her in bed with you? Last 2 mornings J's been wide awake after his 4am bottle but fell straight back to sleep when in with us. He does get a rather sweaty head though when he's in our bed!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

OMG seriously?! I hate that advert and have fleetingly thought about complaining about it, has she not read the ingredients?!My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Benjamin loves those little scotch pancakes that you buy in the supermarket but he doesn't get them for breakfast - we use them as a dessert or a sweet snack that isn't messy!!
DSS gets nutella on toast at home because the advert says it is good for kids *rolleyes*
Well I do always make him at least lick what is there :rotfl:he's such a stubborn thing and its the most I can do whilst still avoiding force feeding him  I always give him what we're having and encourage him to try and eat it and when he eats lots he gets lots of praiseKrystaltips wrote: »I don't think so... When she was in reception she really wanted school dinners so I let her have them for a time... She was coming out of school starving and miserable and when I asked her what she'd had for lunch it would be things like "there was potato and chicken things but I didn't like the chicken so I just ate the potato..." and 1 day she had pasta, decided she didn't like it so all she had all day was an apple... I paid £1.80 for her to eat an apple...
I put her back on packed lunches after that... Although now she's better, she has had school dinners for the last couple of weeks because she wants to be like her friend... She seems to eat them now...
I think it's an age thing... I also think perseverence helps... I have *always* given Aimee the same food as I am having, and I've never let her leave it without trying at least 1 bite... When she was smaller, if she'd left her tea I would let her have a piece of fruit before bed rather than go down hungry, but now she's bigger that's it... She doesn't eat her tea, she doesn't get anything else... Her friend that often comes to play is hideously picky, but her Mum has taken the path of "there's no point giving it to her because she won't eat it..." I think that's a slippy slope to yellow food...0 -
Don't know what time of day you paid but if it was after hours that would count as paying on 17th. With the weekend, three working days would take you till 22nd (Tuesday). Unless it has a postmark or something to indicate what date it was posted, I don't think you can assume they sent it later than that date as three days for something to arrive first class isn't totally out of the ordinary.hmm, how do I word feedback for a seller that stated on the invoice "Once we have recieved clear payment your item will be dispatched within 3 working days and delivered within a further 4-5 working days"
I paid within mins of BIN on 16th and it arrived today its got 1st class postage so they have taken 5 or 6 working days to post it assuming the don't work saturdays
If they have definitely sent it later than they said, I would first of all send them a message about it and see how they respond before deciding what to put. I'd probably fit in something along the lines of "poor communication about delay in posting" as part of it regardless of response.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Gill - MIL spent the first few months telling us how much Jack was 'just like BIL'
Barrel Chest like BIL
Sleeps like BIL
Smilies like BIL
Didn't acknowledge he is blond like OH was when he was born, has my nose and hair line (), has OH's toes (poor sod, ingrowing toenails
) oh and looks like both of us.
In the end I told her that OH was getting upset that she was doing it and he was thinking me and BIL had had an affair. That soon shut her up

I tried her this morning Glam, she kept lolling on me or hubby but would then sit up and start to poke at us, or pull my hair whilst chatting very loudly, and then she started trying to shuffle off the end of the bed to go and play...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I just mentioned it coz that's how I 'know' they mustn't have posted earlier
I thought it would arrive slowly after it took them a few days to send the 'congrats you've won' email then a few more days for the thanks for paying one  it is an ebay shop too, I'd have sympathy for a possibly busy private seller that might have life getting in the way. I'd bought about 5 things from various sellers at the same time and everyone else manage to get stuff to me within 3 days of paying - can you tell i'm grumpy today

...mine is not to question why...
We have told DSS that it is bad for him and that he needs to make his own mind up about eating healthily as he grows up.
How old does my baby look in his England Kit?
We only put it on him this morning and Hubby was asking him "Where's England?" and Benjamin was touching the badge :T:Tplease listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

I would just leave feedback saying "took longer than stated to post out but arrived eventually" or similar...
Very cute Mfd!!
And how different does DSS look with his haircut!
