Our bed is much less squeaky since we moved house and [STRIKE]we [/STRIKE]OH took it down and put it back up again so you may find it is improved when you put it back up.

TBH Benjamin would go down at 6 if I let him. I try to keep him awake until 6.30pm. He needs his sleep too, he can easily sleep for 15 or 16 hours a day. He is a little live-wire though, he absolutely never sits still, so he wears himself out.

If Jack goes dow at 8pm he settles a lot easier and sleeps longer but he's generally shattered by about 7pm but takes ages to get off!

I bet you £100 your floor is cleaner than mine - don't think the hoovers been out in a fortnight

Aw - bet if I came up to check you would hoover it before I got there


We used to have that flooring all the way through but when I found out I was pregnant we had carpet put down in the living/dining room. I hated all the dust and crap the laminate accumulated.

TBH MFD that sounds just like Rose. I thought she slept an awful lot for her age but she is on the go all the time when she is awake...well crawling, she's not walking yet but she sleeps between 16 and 17 hours every day still. Mostly 16 x

Of course I would! I'd even lift up the foam mats cos they get rather stinky underneath!

Jack always has a grubby knee and foot when he gets back from creche - cos he only crawls on one knee! :rotfl:

He sleeps about 14hours a day and the rest of the time he is constantly on the go - doesn't stop crawling, climbing, falling over. Don't know where he gets the energy from!

I've fixed the laptop. :j:j

I phoned a couple of places this morning.
One wanted £55 to look at it, then guessed it needed a new screen which would be £180, plus £50 to fit it.
The other estimated £120-£150 for a new screen, plus £20 to fit it.

I was just sat here looking at it blankly, and I noticed the bit of silver plastic above the keyboard looked loose, so I took it off, had a blow of some dust, pressed some circuit board thingys, and it's working. :T:T

I'm gutted now that i'd already phoned OH to tell him we'd broke it.


My baby girl has been asleep for ages! Since about 12.30. It's unheard on during the day.

You will have the same amount of dust and crap, but the carpet will hide it better. :eek:

We have laminate everywhere, with a rug in the living room. I hate how the dogs white fluff collects under the doors.
