Me too - they're lovely and fluffy out of the dryer.

I don't think it's any different for boys and girls. I can't wait to be a pita MIL and go round to interfere with their ironing. :rotfl:

But none of mine will ever leave home because nobody will ever be good enough for them. ;)

Jillie I don't think I could survive a holiday with my own parents, never mind my IL's!

towels must be dried in the dryer here! when my mum comes over she pegs them out which i hate. so when she goes i put them on a quick 15 min wash and tumble dry them.

i hate ironing so am safe in the knowledge that i will never pee a future DIL off by doing her ironing!

i dont mind the hols with my mum or in-laws, we just have different things we like to do. mum is like me....chill for a day or so and then do things but PIL have to do something everyday which i hate.
i think its the seeing them everyday that gets a bit much. although thinking about past holidays the ones we go on now will be different. We like to eat on holiday bout 9pm...will need to be bout 7 with Kian i'm guessing.

when we go to Portugal there is a marineland/ sealion/dolphin show place so i have already mentioned going there but i know its not something PIL would entertain so have said i will take our niece. hopefully it will be something she'd like to do otherwise i'll convince DH he wants to go.

My MIL is fab, she already is a nan to Lilys cousin (who is 20months) and she has always said that she will never do anything with Lily unless we tell them its ok.
They wont even pick her up until we say its fine to pick her up :)

My own mother on the other hand....... complete nightmare, doesn't listen, goes in a huff if she doesn't get her way, behaves very childishly etc. Thats why the IL's babysit for a full day and she doesn't. She gets a half hour here and there and visits when I'm there. Her health isn't great either so I have no problem just saying to her that shes not getting him as I don't think she'd cope.

Ditto. When i was pregnant, i was up her house and we got talking about Lilys food when she was older. I said i dont want her to have sweets, choc, etc, as i want her to see it as a treat. Not an every day normal thing, and she said "Well i dont care, when i look after her im going to give her what i want"
    :eek::mad:

I made cupcakes! :D I got my new piping nozzle today, and they look good :D
SJ, i can see why you like making cakes, its fun and i always feel good about myself aftrwards :)

Lily is sat on a cushion on my lap currently, im trying to balance her with my ( . )( . )'s :rotfl:

    PM'd.

OOh, that's still not far - maybe 20 minutes from me.

And you'd be near enough for Manchester/Warrington meet ups.

When are you coming over to view?

WM is intrigued (Make that nosey cow). Not too sure where your parents are, but seem to think not too far from me. And 3 isn't all that far away really. But then you could tell me and I probably wouldn't even know where it is, because my brain has left the building :rotfl:

Coming over next weekend. We're probably going to go to dim sum in central Liverpool on Sunday morning, so if anyone wants to join us they're welcome. It's not terribly :money: but it's delicious.

Woohoo - one less thing for you to worry about!

Have you told tax credits, and are you able to get carers now?

We're still waiting for the renewal (since March!). We got a letter this week saying they're waiting for info from J's specialist. I'm now thinking the Dr. will wait until he's sees J on 1st July before he replies.
just told tax credits and phoned to apply for carers form to be sent out, i had a 2 month back payment in the bank so have just got back from toys r us! we had great fun and they all got something they really wanted. I bought Charlie a balance bike and he managed to fly around the shop on the display model lol!

I hope your renewal gets sorted out soon for you, i must admit i was very lucky that the nursery sent the letter back the same day they recieved it! i really am in shock as i did expect to be turned down the first time(and silly as it sounds it feels like everyone believes me too!)

SS you coming back over here?
What's for you won't go past you

When's the meet? We're leaving on the 4th, so probably not. Very much a flying visit.
