Thank you lovely SJ fairies! Very much appreciated x

Caz- what a tit and I'm glad you did the hammer thing! We are all here for you x

Was at the Docs again this morning, signed off for another fortnight and more painkillers. I'm booked off work on holiday anyway so will just give them line and they can decide if they want to pay me holiday or sick pay. Its the same so doesn't really matter.
I phoned work to tell them and it was my Deputy thats on today. She told me on the qt that there is a full time Assistant Manager starting in a fortnight on permanent transfer from another store. And there was me thinking I was paranoid with an imaginary target on my back.......

Wow! Erin couldn't even hold things properly at 3 months and has only just started banging things together this last month! Luckily she still likes cuddles though so I'm getting my fill now.

At first i thought it was out of frustration, but i was watching her and she was looking at the toys and doing it over and over. Not really hard banging, just hitting them into each other.

The cow toy is now on her arm like a bracelet, it has a hook thing on the back as its from her play gym, and she's asleep :)

I've been looking for more designs i can make into iron on transfers.
I saw one that i html, and it says on the front and on the back :D

E is only 14 weeks isn't he? How come you started weaning so early? Just curious, like :p

All the advice says 17 weeks at absolute earliest, i started trying rice with Amber at 17 weeks, and she was on 3 meals a day by about 21 weeks, so we still took it slowly i think.

I would just say, once i started giving her the first tastes, i felt like i *had* to do it every day, but in the end i realised we did have to take it slowly and miss a few days if she wasn't in the right mood. But i guess that would depend on why you started so early!

Because I felt he was ready and his paediatrician said he thought he was ready, he said it might help with his major wind issues if he was eating rather than drinking, I mean obv he is still having his bottles as well lol

He loves it :)

Awww whats happened with Buttons :(

(((Hugs))) Caz xxx

EA THATS EXACTLY LIKE E!!!!! Ive been up hours he woke at 12am for a feed, then woke at 2am and would not go back to sleep I think he was too hot, so had to bring him downstairs and he finally fell asleep at half 3, que me sleeping on sofa, then he was awake at 5.30am for the day *rolls eyes*

I didn't get it because they didn't have it when Alice was born but I would choose to eat healthily and would spend more if I thought it necessary regardless of whether the government gave me a grant. I believe though the actual purpose of it was to ensure people received antenatal care because not receiving it or delaying it is a risk factor. I imagine it could make a difference to people who were really that skint but aside from people who have got into debt in the past I find it hard to imagine how anyone could be that short that the money would make a difference and if they were that short of money that it could make a difference they would probably have higher priorities anyway.
I also think it was a mistake to wait until 25 weeks to give it, since a great deal of the healthy eating benefits would be too late by then, ie folate (should be up to 13.3 weeks)

I was lucky that we had enough cash for me to build the HipGrant into our budget, knowing I would get it IYSWIM?

But some folk would actually have to wait to get it, but tht's possibly to late.

And hello by the way :)

DD2 was 2 in March and is showing no intrest at all.

Charlotte wasn't potty trained until a couple of months before her 3rd birthday. She showed no interest in it before that, and when I tried putting her in knickers, she just wet them and then was upset because she was wet.

She still has a nappy on at night. I put her on the toilet to "squeeze a wee wee out" just before she goes to bed, but the nappy is still really wet the next morning.
Here I go again on my own....
