    sorry went to deal with a code brown
    :rotfl::rotfl: I so hope that was Jayden's :rotfl::rotfl:
    Thanks Gym :)

    Well he has baby rice every morning and loves it, we gave him porridge the other day and he had wind trouble but I am not sure if he is over the colic but most my family have problems with wheat so I have kept him off that and will keep him on baby rice, might try him on porridge again on sun and see if it was that or something else

    He had some tea last night, but our routine was messed up tonight so he didnt get any and just had a bottle :)

    Awwww its cute when they eat

    E knows exaclty what to do the HV was trying to say he should be on solids cos he cant move the food to the back of his mouth with his tounge, well excuse me Mrs HV but he can and does lol I have video proof :rotfl:

    E is only 14 weeks isn't he? How come you started weaning so early? Just curious, like :p

    All the advice says 17 weeks at absolute earliest, i started trying rice with Amber at 17 weeks, and she was on 3 meals a day by about 21 weeks, so we still took it slowly i think.

    I would just say, once i started giving her the first tastes, i felt like i *had* to do it every day, but in the end i realised we did have to take it slowly and miss a few days if she wasn't in the right mood. But i guess that would depend on why you started so early!

    The impact isn't really that significant though. As a percentage of net income, it ranges from 0.75% loss for the second income decile to 2% loss for the top income decile. (For some reason the second decile loses less than the bottom decile.) The actual amount the top decile (earning over £49k) loses is slightly under £1.6k (I'm reading these figures off graphs so can't be very precise) which doesn't really seem enough to cause problems for anyone.

    I have to say that if the cost to me is £1.6k a year I will be bleeding heavily :( I know 'over £49k' seems a lot, but single-income, wife and child, inner London, I am already not really saving anything! If I lose another £140 a month it will really hurt. Right now not seeing that the cost will be that high though.

    And Buttons, no wise words but was very sorry to hear it's such a complicated and difficult situation :( hope it gets better and breathing space sounds like a good thing to be aiming for...

    Yeah, don't tell anyone Caz... But I'm pregnant ;)

    Bruno... Could you pass my apologies on to E... The numberjacks are still sitting on the parcel tray of my buggy in vain hopes that I might wander closer to the post office... I will try harder this week!!
    A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
    Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
