Massive hugs for Buttons, what a pickle to be stuck in. I did wonder why your FB had you down as single when you still refer to him as OH, I had no idea it was all messed up :( I hope getting some breathing space makes life a bit easier for you. It sounds like he needs to move on but doesnt know how :(
I'd have your kitties if I lived closer :o

Gisi I'm sure I was asking you to send Henry to speak to Isla recently, I'm sorry I've stolen your sleep :o Until then we were still having the two feeds a night, I'm not sure how long the sleeping through will last but I'm enjoying it while it lasts! I hope you get a better night soon x

And because I'm sure you all wonder, I'm now a completely shield free normal breast feeder :D

  • I  him!

That's awful about your job :(

I am kind of immune to the whole job crap now! It could still go either way - I could get to do 4 days a week for a while which I would enjoy...but I will always be 3 months away from not having a job. There will be some kind of decision made (either by me or the companies I work with) by the end of June.

I love him too! He is an absolute card! I only saw him for about 30 mins tonight but they were lots of fun!!

Kindof I meant to say the other day, never saw the convo on you weaning E but good for you doing what's right for you and your baby  I must admit I have given Guy a bit of a suck on strawberry, watermelon & sweet potato already :o He seems to love it and I've seen no ill effects.

    Thanks Gym :)

Well he has baby rice every morning and loves it, we gave him porridge the other day and he had wind trouble but I am not sure if he is over the colic but most my family have problems with wheat so I have kept him off that and will keep him on baby rice, might try him on porridge again on sun and see if it was that or something else

He had some tea last night, but our routine was messed up tonight so he didnt get any and just had a bottle :)

Awwww its cute when they eat

E knows exaclty what to do the HV was trying to say he should be on solids cos he cant move the food to the back of his mouth with his tounge, well excuse me Mrs HV but he can and does lol I have video proof :rotfl:

Think my HiPG went into the 'prepare for 2 weeks in hospital' pot, which was only 1 week, but it's still a lot in fuel. So yeah, it went on fuel and food so DH could visit us in hospital. The surestart grant went on our car insurance! Well, I had everything else!

I got all the way to work today to sign the form I apparently needed to do only for my boss to realise he'd got it wrong and I didn't need to sign anything

Two buses each way and £5 in fares when we could have gone to the park instead. He was pestering about when I return will I be part or full time but I chose to ignore him.

Tia - What are you making?

    How annoying Boo!

I'm meeting my boss next Thursday to plan my back to work. Mat pay runs out next month, and I can't really afford not to get paid. Hopefully I can do a couple of KIT days (which I will get paid for when SMP stops) then go back properly mid-August. I'll save money on my Starbucks habit if nothing else!

So I went into work today to drop off some cakes I'd made for some open day thing they had going on and had the following conversation with a colleage

Stupid male colleage: So is that what you're doing now, cakes?
Me: No, just doing these as a favour to (employer), I am not making any others as I am on maternity leave so that would not be allowed
SMC: Oh, when is the baby due?
Me: The baby is 4 months old you dipshit

(Ok I didn't actually say dipshit)
