oooh I have lots of fb friends now

Boogelly boo - thanks for the pramactive info. I've bookmarked and will definitely give it a go. Why doesn't everything happen on a Friday tho??? It's the same day as the breastfeeding support group which I have been trying to go to since T was born (went once while pg) but havnt made it yet lol
Which friend of EA's is it? Just the initials so I can have a nosy lol. And is she an actual friend EA or just an aquaintance? - haha I've figured it out now
Oh booo tc's will affect us as OH just scrapes into that after his on call and overtime - but if he had no oncall or overtime he'd be quite a bit under.
Actually I've got a question re tax credits that I could do with some help on. I've just filled my form in. As you all know you fill it in using last years info, however as my mat leave started on 27th April then I will be earning much less this year . I had full time hol pay for 1st 3 wks of tax, then 90& for 6 weeks then smp for the next 33 wks and then no pay till end of tax year. Will this make a difference to my claim?
Wow that's a bit mean reducing backdating to a month! When does that start from?? I wont be impressed as I only sent mine off yesterday lol
Thomas seems to have coped really well with his jabs. He cried a little bit with first jab then a lot with the second. He calmed down after a couple of mins then snuggled in for a cuddle, which was really nice coz he usually wants entertaining or sleep rather than just cuddles! I fed him when we got home but then he wouldnt settle and just wanted to keep sucking. He's nice and calm on his playmat now though.
My nectar amazon vouchers finally came through at lunchtime so Ive ordered his swing. It was £5 cheaper than it was at 10am this morning :money:Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Good budget I thought. No surprises and a few things I was pleased to see.
The VAT increase was always on the cards. Get annoyed when I think back to when Labour dropped it to 15%. Cost our company hundreds of thousands in staff and printing costs to change prices over! I had to do a 15 hr shift to sort my shop out and did it 'encourage people to spend' like they said it would? Did it fluck!! lol
It did succeed in sc-rewing many small companies over though - speaking from bitter experience.
I thought I saw at one stage that Child Benefit would be restricted for higher earners too but I can't find any reference to it. I would have liked to see that happen (even though it would probably mean me not getting it) and I would also liked to have seen the winter fuel allowance restricted for pensioners with high incomes too....far too many people getting money that they simply don't need.please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Can't see that happening with the Child Benefit to be honest. The common theory is it would cost more to means test it than it does to just pay everyone the same. It would end up like CTC with people renewing and overpayments and hundreds of call centres full of staff giving out wrong information0 -

SM - We always got bikes for xmas, but as Zoe's birthday is sooo close to xmas I can understand what you are saying about getting it for her to use now...only thing is with kids, they forget what they've already had, and you will probably feel guilty if you still don't get her enough for birthday/xmas......hard call hon xx
Must be the weather, my friend who lives down the road has just told me that her husband has been cheating on her. Not that she is whiter then white, as she was on the verge of having an affair aswell.
In other news, my sister phoned me a few hours ago and informed me she is getting married next august in Gretna Green:D:D And she has asked me to be a bridesmaid:D:D She is 21 now so will be 22 when they get married and I don't think it will be long afterwards that there will be babies on the way:D:D My kids will finally have cousins and I will be an aunty:D:D
Also in other news, I have been getting pains on and off all day....so hopefully my body is realising it has a baby to evict and I won't go overdue:D:D
xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
EA those baby classes are often led by people pushing their own agendas. Mine was led by a woman who told me having an epidural would damage my baby's brain and prevent us from bonding and breastfeeding. We're almost eleven months in and not having problems in either direction thankyouverymuch

SM, why not have a surprise half-birthday for Zoe in summer, and for her actual birthday get her some bike stickers/flag for it/new helmet or something like that so she remembers that her actual birthday present was the bike?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Beenie, your DS is such a cutie! And Amber does look alot like him

SS, she wouldn't give certain info out for some reason. She said babies need their eggs to be hard and not runny and a lady asked at what age can they have them runny.
The Weaning lady just said "Oh im not telling you that"
Surely its better to tell us instead of us guessing and potentially harming our babies with evil runny eggs?!!! hehe.0 -
Everyone always goes on about how much they look alike
I love it :j
Looking through my old photobucket stuff and i came across this video, it's dated 13/3/07 so he would have been 3. Hope no one minds me spamming with my stuff
If i remember rightly we were looking at pics on the laptop and i said in a funny voice "oh there's NANA" and he found it hilarious :rotfl:
