When V starts pressing her beaker against the wall we will know what you have been up to :p

They're always at it! They hate each other so much I wonder how that actually manage to keep breeding. :rotfl:

Question for MFD & SS. (are there any other members of the Stokke club?)

Am I right in thinking all of the material bits come off to go in the washing machine? Is that including the hood? And what about the bags?

And i'm shocked at how much the textile sets go for on ebay! There was a (imo) horrid yellow one ended for £192 a couple of days ago. Now there is an orange one listed for £250 BIN!

    Do Stokke sell textile sets?

Oooooooooooooooooooh WM, I love it, thanks!

Edit: yes all the Stokke stuff can be washed (thanks for reminding me, Little Miss mashed red pepper lasagne into hers the other day, and all over her dress, this after eating mashed parsnip without a spill ) and Stokke sell textile sets as do Kiddicare, I think. And others.

  • I dunno 3 cos I am a dirty cow who hasn't even tried washing it!! Benjamin threw food all over the bag when we used it as a chair in the chinese once and it still has a greasy mark :o

I did wash all the babybag stuff when I put it away and it washed really well actually. But I would be more tempted to sponge wash the hood.

Are you not happy with the green? Green was my first choice.

So if MFD beats Bruno, and I beat MFD, does that mean I beat Bruno by proxy?

OOH, my skanky neighbours are having a full on domestic - but I can't hear properly what it's about.

Love that you tried! I'm like that aswell :rotfl:

Just back from chiropractor, still no work for me. On holiday for a fortnight but she doesn't think I'll be back after that either!

My back is alot better but ma shoulder is still goosed. She said its a rotator cuff injury so basically every time I move my arm too far or high or lift anything or drive I agrevate it. Great, heavy lifting and repetitive movement is ALL my job is. Getting a bit worried now as I've had no improvement since I hurt it at the beginning of May. Seeing the Doc on Wednesday so may ask about a steriod injection plus get some stronger anti-infammatory (sp) tabs. (Sami- I am also on the list for the Physio!)

Chiro has worked wonders on my back tho! Almost lost the 'limp' I've had since I was 8 :D

I'm in the process of making one of those!! I can't decide if I should but the ribbon on or not tho or if plain black or funky patterned fleece is the way to go  I reckon they cost about £1.50 in raw materials max!

    Morning all,

    Thanks for your input MFD.

It seems to have everything going for it - it's half the price of buying the best rated Isofix car seats, so would probably allow us to buy 1 for each car. It seems to be lighter than others so would be easy to transfer to my parents car etc if they need to pick H up. It looks straightforward to fit and it performs highly in tests. But I would like to see it in real life, and nowhere seems to stock it, it's only online.

Not sure what we have planned here today. H slept through again and went to bed with no crying for the second night in a row!! Yippee.

ETA - good luck with being grown up Sugar. I have still to learn how to do that!
Anyone watching The Wright Stuff? Mark Little looks crazy with his hair shaved - a bit like Charles Manson?
I know it won't be exactly the same but if you have a mamas n papas close by they do a copy of the kiddy car seat that would at least give you some idea ??

Its not cracked or bleeding, it doesn't get a chance with the amount of the gel i cover her in. At the moment he wants us to use doublebase, i do have oilatum. But we have to try this first he says :)

It sometimes seems to be bothering her, but after i gel her she seems more relieved. I think the coolness of it calms it down.
I'd take her back to the GP, Chris was given doublebase at first but I had to change to hydromol because I'm allergic to something in the DB. I'm now worrying Lily could be too and therefore the DB is making it spread :s ask them for some hydromol bath stuff too, the HVs here give you bath stuff and cream as standard .

NOw for the reason I haven't caught up completely!

Caz has txt elle to say she is OK :j:j:T:T She's now single as her OH is with another woman :(
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

    Ewww, you skank! :p

No, I like the green, but i'd also like a change.

Thanks SS i'm going to check out Kiddicare.

ETA: I can only find the summer sets. Is that because it's summer? Do they usually do normal sets?
