Caz, no idea what to say but I have plenty of hugs for you X
Took, hydrocortizone, used with hydromol to get rid of Alex's when it was at its worse.

Ahh Hammy you are having a bad time of it aren't you? Hugs.
Any idea when the paeds app will be or are you still waiting?

:A Thank you, hugs needed and appreciated. No idea on paed appointment - still waiting to hear. We have been put down as an urgent referral but I guess the wheels of the NHS turn way too slow when it is your baby hurting :(

GISI, I remember you were getting stressed about your job - did you get any further forward on sorting something out?

Krystal - my mind is boggling about what happened earlier?
The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents ;):o:D

Big hugs Caz, you know where we are if you want to talk.

Thanks for asking, Hammy. I've got a meeting with my boss next week so fingers crossed I will get the hours I'm hoping for.

I love the bumper bar covers too, might have to make one too. That site you linked to is fab, Beenie.

Beautiful day here and it's set to get hotter.

    Evening all..

Like Sami said, Caz text me earlier (from a new number) but it wasn't in reply to my previous texts, it was coincidence so she didn't know we were all worrying about her! :( She's not lurking, had to change broadband suppliers so waiting for a new connection, but we can point her in the direction of today's posts when she's back so she knows we miss her ;) She said she's happy now and everyone is well. If she's not back soon, I'll keep [STRIKE]pestering[/STRIKE] texting her ;):p

In horrid news, our street was full of police this morning when I left for work.. Found out tonight it was because a 70yo lady had disturbed a burglar in her house at 7am this morning and he'd left her really badly beaten :( Local news said injuries aren't life-threatening and they've got a bloke in custody for it  Adding to this, we've had about six thefts from site at work in the last three weeks - including from OH's office! - so I'm feeling rather creeped out right now :o:(

But in better news, Rhys is giving crawling backwards a good attempt now.. just in time for the next physio visit tomorrow ;) :T

Hope everyone is well, and in particular *hugs* for Hammy and David :) xx

Hugs Caz, not sure what else to say but karma is on your side :)

I have only just put Alfie to bed. Were out to mum's for tea and got home a bit late so skipped bathtime tonight. I still have so much to do. Was working all day but hardly seemed to get anything done so I will up late finishing off. I'm knackered cos I've been on my feet all day and i just want to go to bed! :(

Claire, I would probably go into that retailer and raise merry hell :)

I'm trying to get stuff done before I just fall right over and pass out. Mr SS has taken the monster but she is not happy about this and he is calling for assistance every five minutes so I may as well give in.

Edit: 15 items left on my initial 49-item marathon list. No wonder I'm about to fall over!

Elle, could you pass my number onto her please? We are (hopefully) going up her way at the weekend in a lodge and would be nice to meet up.

The bumper bar, I'd be tempted to just wrap fabric round it and tie it on with the ribbon, wouldn't look as good but I know Amber likes knots to chew on! lol

Or, tie on loose loops of ribbon to the bar, get some fabric with little slits cut for the ribbon to be pulled through then wrap ribbon round to hold it on, tucking the ends inside the fabric. Would be better with no fray fabric or even denim.

Hi all, we're back from holiday - well got back saturday...

I just saw your piccies and wondered when you were back :D Haven't seen you in ages and we must be due arranging another mummies night out too (did you enjoy the last one, btw?) ;)
elle: hope you had a good time away. Thought you lived in a nice area!

We did, thankyou :D And, yeah, we thought it was a nice(ish!) area too! However, I've just spoken to a real, live, actual, proper policeman (first time, can you tell? :o) and he said there may be more to it than meets the eye, not totally random after all
My baby Reece is walking quite well now but still not happy about it! Lessions are available for little Rhys if wanted lol!

Yay for walking! :D :T Lesson's always greatly appreciated ;)

ETA: Tia, PM me your number and I'll send it asap :)
