SS, Caitlyn is forever dribbling her water out... And this afternoon, she was shaking into her crotch...

Had a comedy visit with the Dr this afternoon but my hotdogs just split open so I'll tell you all later...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

If you look at this pick close up you can see its a stretchy thin material. Defo has some elastan or lycra or something in it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270590884346

I can't sew either or I'd be tempted to make one!

Don't really see how you can copyright a cover tho?? She must have just copyrighted parts of it.....hmmmm
hmm stretchy stuff like that is hard to sew on a normal sewing machine.

You can't copyright something like that, you can register it as intellectual property but I doubt they could because it's an idea nicked off taggies and loads of people sell taggie-a-like blankets on ebay annddd I'm sure there are other sellers selling similar bumper covers.
The first one I saw was made from fleece see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bumper-Bar-Cover-fit-Phil-Teds-PUSHCHAIR-Reversible-/170490022780?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Baby_Pushchair_Accessories_parts_ET&hash=item27b1ff4b7c
thats not a taggie style one though just wher I got the fleece idea from, the fit is a bit wrinkled on the bend but I think its ok looking

Thats what I thought but shes claiming CR and registered design rights, might have a look for some cool ribbon in the shop and decide if I want to make one or not

    afternoon all.

not been on much as had nothing to say :/

still struggling to get Kian to eat although he will take about 3 'weaning' spoons at lunch or dinner. will eat fromage frais or fruit puree no problem so its just savoury he's not too keen on. have been giving him rice pudding which he seems to enjoy. think he's just a fussy git like his dad.

    hope everyone is well :)

not read back so (((hugs))) well dones to those who need them

K is a PITA with his eating! Depending on mood he'll not eat from a spoon, only eat from a spoon, only drink milk or only eat with no milk! His wee phases last about a week or so. Today he decided spoons are a no go so has had for his tea: a sandwich on soft cheese, 2 fishfingers, 6 rigatoni pasta tubes (tuna pasta bake) and half a packet of organix carrot sticks. He had a fromage frais for pudding which is the only thing he ever tolerates off a spoon!

I may or may not  have filled up a basket of ribbon here : http://www.cardsandcraft.co.uk/fabrics/

Just for ideas, of course  totally don't need a metre of each pattern!! I hope the local shops would just let me cut a few inches off??

edit - now these people use "waterproof nylon fabric" so am gonna hunt some down. I'm thinking if i put it inside and and on the bumber bar, it would help me to sew it up neatly, and then take it off and voila!! Would that work??

edit again... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WATERPROOF-BLACK-NYLON-FABRIC-4oz-60-Wide-X-1MTR-/140372312803 Oooh, need to measure the bumper bar :D

It's funny speed reading the thread and reading about willies and sausage shaped bits of material. I wondered what you were all going to make :rotfl:
