oh and I've seen a 'done' willy but didn't take much noticed because it belongs to a close relative!

I've, um, taken notice of both variations. It doesn't make much difference when they're awake, except that the sensitivity in the ones that haven't been "done" is greater.

Mr SS is American but has been thoroughly indoctrinated into the "don't mess with it" mentality of mainland Europe. I think it's a mainly cosmetic procedure that carries no health benefit as long as the extra bit's a good fit and not too tight and it's kept clean.

Sami i like the idea of having a go but with no sewing machine and a severe lack of sewing experience i'mscared it'll all go wrong :p I was gonna try the craft shop we have in town, or Boyes (do you have one?).

I'm just confused about how i could make it removeable, cos with the bar being curved at the ends, if i made it a tight fit to the length of the bar would i get it on in the first place?

I really hope that makes sense lol!! Or i'd pay you to do it haha. :D You could easily out-price that seller on eBay and still make a good profit, just for a hobby like.. I wonder if they've copyrighted the design

Sami & Hammy - Will deffo take her back then :) The DB doesn't seem to soothe it at all.

Think we will go for a joint bank account. Its only to pay our rent and 'together' bills, like council tax, virgin media, etc.

I have debt that is mine only and we both have our own phones, so we could have our own accounts to pay them. DH has said that my debt is now our debt, but i feel bad.
Except for the washing machine and tv, thats our debt :p

I've seen a "done" willy. My ex had it done due to medical problems. He said he likes it that way as its easier to clean.
    I have no preference :rotfl::o

We have people coming to view the house in about 15 mins, and im in my PJs :D

Just a second ago, me and DH were play fighting and Lily started fake crying! :rotfl: She has such an obvious fake cry its funny :D

WM i meant to say, i never pulled back DS foreskin to clean there, i never thought you had to either. Luckily we never had any infections though. It looked like it would hurt, i didn't think you could do such things til they were older lol.

He has 2 scars from his hernia op that he had when he was about 3 though! I cried my eyes out when they knocked him out with the anaesthetic, made me have massive respect for those who have poorly kids.

SS, 100% agree with your evals of 'done' versus not 'done', having experienced each. I think those that are done have dulled sensitivity and therefore take longer to, er, react to certain situations. we can discuss this more on Tara's hen night :p

I need to pop out some post some letters. couldnt be bothered with pram so decided to try T in the baby carrier and he hated it! screamed and screamed :( feeding him now to soothe him. If he's calm afterwards i might just carry him in my arms

I forgot I'd quoted this! K has never taken to his carrier. If I really was that interested I could have persevered with it but I much prefer the pram so didn't.
Putting him in it little and often may help?

Is is not just like a sausage of material open at both ends that you slide over the length of the bar? Or is it velcro along the length?

I would have thought it'd be sausage and sewn all down the length of it, but i'd be worried that wouldn't get it round the curved bit when sliding it on?? Cos it'd need to be wider there wouldn't it? Or i could just find a stretchy material...hmmmm

Her ones must have abit of leeway in them for sliding on then esp if they are universal? So they must not be tight, tight? I want one too now lol

Yeah you're right, i wonder if she uses a stretchyish material, cos it'd look shoite if it was a bit baggy i think.

I may be expecting too much of myself here - this is someone who used hemming tape for DS' scout badges, and got my friend to sew the button back on my dress the other day :o :rotfl::rotfl:
