OK, but you have two sons, it didn't come into the picture there? Or we can leave the topic if it goes too far!
Think I'm being seriously thick, but not sure which area you are getting at, do you mean I have to sons and would i ever or have i ever thought about getting them "done"?
I do remember Joe getting an infection once when he was a toddler. I didn't even know you were supposed to clean under there, I'm female for godsake, i don't have those bits. But some cream and he was fine. Dr said if he continued to get infections, he could be circumcised, I did think :eek: and so did his dad, as one of his very first memories is getting off the bed and going to wee just after he had had it done and double :eek::eek: at the pain. But i also though, well its cleaner, but it never came up again as no more infections.
If it's for medical reasons and needs doing then yes, but I couldn't inflict it for "cosmetic" reasons. And neither of my boys will be having sex, ever0 -
Tara - my car seat is a Kiddy Infinity Pro - the Which Best Buy Car Seat. It is super-safe
I bought mine from here and it actually took ages to arrive but I couldn't fault their customer service, they called me and emailed me with updates (when they said they would) and were generally very pleasant to deal with.
Fitz was looking at them which is why I put the photos on FB.
Fitz - I can't find the English Kiddy Website for some reason (only the German one). Do you have a link?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Thanks WMnot being thick at all, all I meant is that apparently a relatively common reason for circumcision is "tribal", i.e. you want your son to look like his father - and also you made the point that you preferred it so just wondered whether that was a reason to consider it! This really is the wrong forum I think because I doubt most anyone here has ever seriously considered it for their children - tis a US/Aus thing I guess

I don't expect any answer to reach the root of the issue, but maybe by moving in conjunction on this we can get beyond skin-deep? (trying too hard? Probably
)
It's important to bring the subject to the fore.skin's important and one should really think hard before cutting into it willy-nilly.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hey all, had a rough night here and a very messy morning! T was all wound up from us visiting inlaws, seems the later it gets the louder and more hyper they get, especially as OHs brothers were ther too. She woke every hour and half through the night. Then this morning we had a leeky nappy then when I changed her she continued too poop all over the change mat! Decided to move her up to size 3 nappies as the size 2's are cutting into her little thighs, the size 3 are huge on her tho. An hour later and we had a wet mattress cos they leaked
to top it all off lil lady weed on me as I put her in the bath!
Right I've just about managed to get dressed and had some lunch, dinner is on for tonight and lil girl has just fallen asleep on me for the first time today. I daren't put her down incase she wakes. So will go back and catch up on the thread since last night.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Ah right! No, no desire for them to look like their father. And Joe is as of yet unaware of any differences between him and his dad. Hope it stays that way, because I can't handle the questions. The "whats that purple ball thing in there mummy?":rotfl: was more than enough for me, along with "why do you wee out of your bum?". Kids gotta love um.:D0 -
Does anyone know where I could get some comfy gladiator sandals? I've been looking in the shops and on ebay but they all seem to have the very flat, hard sole. Do clarks do 'em??
