PP, it hurts when it gets done and stings a little afterwrads, but its not too bad. I can't get inbetween (above my nose) done because I end up with lots of spots if I do, but then I don't really have a monobrow so its ok.

I had my brows waxed for the wedding... Didn't hurt at all, but I've had them threaded since and I found that much better than waxed... They really need doing again though... There's a place in Birmingham that only charges £2.50, might see if my friend fancies a trip over there this week...

SB, I would just wrap them and send them in a bag... I just bought Caitlyn some little converse and I was just expecting them in a bag, I was surprised they came in a box... They're ridiculously cute though :D

Found a small tesco value pizza in the freezer... Need it to be cooked in the next 10mins though... Caitlyn will have to eat hers at the Drs... She's happy munching on a cold new potatoe at the minute so I don't think she'll mind...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Well be honest and say I've never had them waxed, never plucked them or done anything to them! They are quite fair though so they've never really bothered me. But I would like to get them done. My sister had her armpits done before her wedding and she said the pain was awful! My neighbour works in a beauty salon and I was hoping she might be able to do it for me at my house. I had my eyelashes tinted last week and Caitlyn cried and screamed the whole time. At least here she's got stuff to do.

The maltesers are only £1 in Tesco, hmmm, I might just eat them and get another box. I got some for DH last week, but I ate them and never told him I'd bought any! Oooops........ they were nice though.

  • Krystal - we were late home last night (I say late, about 6.15pm LOL) so Benjamin had a potato waffle which had been through the toaster for 1 1/2 cycles and some barely warmed beans and sausages!! What a lucky boy!

The problem with cooking stuff is that you need it to cool down afterwards.

I came on to moan about being conned.

A few nights ago 'Sky tv' called to tell us that our package had came down in price, they just had to confirm our details. So DH cam through, told me what he had been told and I had to confirm my bank details. The guy spoke to me, 'sky tv package has been reduced, we just have to confirm your bank details.' He then says he has two debit card numbers and I said that the sky came out of my bank account, he told me that the debit card was a back up. Ok, so I confirmed my debit card number. (I confirmed the last 4 digits, they had it on their system already, how I don't know, but its in the letter).

Today we get a letter saying we have agreed to a REPAIR service!!! I called up and went mental. They don't record phone calls says the supervisor, oh right is that so your callers can trick people into agreeing to service they don't tell you about? They work from a script, what script I asks and he reads it out. The phone call we had was NOTHING like the script. So Now I have to write a letter telling them to cancel it, which I'm really angry about, having to waste my time because some little !!!!!! has conned us? Have called trading stanards too and they have had a few folk saying the same thing about this company. The woman herself had a call from them with the same thing, pretending to be sky tv.

So watch out, if you get a call about your sky tv package coming down in price, its got nothing to with sky tv.
