Henry's only ever had one- we have a nearly full packet of the no added sugar ones in the cupboard that I'm too scared to let him have! Maybe when we have the paddling pool out he can have one in there :rotfl:.

I think I must be a nutter. OH is working tomorrow so I am in sole charge all day tomorrow, but I have invited my whole family round for a BBQ in he afternoon. I somehow have to get the house and the food ready on my own, while supervising the baby .

Thanks, I was trying "just because purees worked ok for you doesn't mean there isn't another way" but she still can't get her head round it. She also keeps insisting "well you will be open to giving him purees / rusks if it doesn't work out, won't you?" No absolutely not, if he won;t eat finger food he can just starve himself.

Aww GISI you are a braver woman than I!

SJ I didn't see it as BLW, I see it as the lazy-arsed way for Mums who cba with making mush.

However, I don't think telling your Mum that you're a lazy arsed B would help! :o

Searchie I miss the roll eyes, but the confused much more. Shall we start a protest?

Oh ebay does make me laugh. Why would you bid £24 plus postage for something used which costs £20 new in the shops or widely available online with free postage? That seller will be very pleased!

And I'm not waiting up to bid on a pandora charm that ends at 10.30 by the way ;)

We do finger foods but if Jack doesn't have something like a jar or our food mashed up then he's not full enough. I tend to do a meal for him then give him food he can feed himself for pudding (banana, pear, orange), snacks (organix puffs etc) and then extras (chips, garlic bread cheese, meat) when we eat.

I think it depends if you have the shop near you. I know that IKEA stuff sells for way more of ebay than in the sop cos not everyone can get to an IKEA easily.

HOWEVER, My friend bought the ASDA Baby Event Walker that's normally £25, for £30 second hand at the market  She got it about a month before the last baby event so didn't know what it was worth new!
