Tara I love that song. It was my best friends first dance too :heart2: It also reminds me of Pulp Fiction which contains my ideal first dance song OH's Dad is a minister
SJ - yep we've done no purees. The only things we spoon feed are fromage frais and porridge but even these she's getting more independent and want's to be handed a loaded spoon. Everything else is put on the highchair tray and we leave her to it. Feel free to pick my brains but I'm sure it won't take you long :rotfl:there's not much in there! This site's quite helpful.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
SJ - there are tons of BLWers on here (to a greater or lesser extent) so you are not alone!
I now have a fork wielder!! Blooming 3's fault for saying something about V having a fork yesterday so I thought I would give him a try last night - he usually eats with his fingers or a spoon, which I sometimes help him to load (we usually have at least 2 or 3 spoons on the go per course!!!) Only problem is now he won't use the baby fork...he wants mine!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Becles- do you mind if I ask how much you pay for boot camp? I found one near me but it is £100 a month, which I think is really expensive! I think I might try buggyfit though as it looks like fun!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Oh go on!, blame me!Dab-dab!
Mummy forks are so much better than baby forks.
Evening everyone. Hope everyone is ok.
Searchie You haven't got that virus that's doing the rounds have you? I first thought V's rash was CP, then measles - turns out its a virus. She's still a grumpy bum, but the rash has faded a lot.
In fact, she's so grumpy, OH has just brought her downstairs to stop her screeching - and she's come into the room with a huge grin on her face saying Hiya!
We went and ordered a new cooker this morning, it's coming tomorrow. And we bought a new microwave which is now in the kitchen and J is barred from touching it!
Dad came up earlier to disconnect the old cooker so they'll take it away, and i'm quite  about what was behind my old cooker - but it has been in place for 6 years.
A different SW is visiting us tomorrow to assess our situation (our's is on holiday) so we'll see what comes of that. Probably nothing.
My Mum is worried about my stress levels and has written a strongly worded letter to Social Services - bless her!
Hope everyone else is ok and enjoying their weekends.:beer:0 -
3 - do you think the fact that he's actually broken them will make him less inclined to do it or will he carry on regardless?
MFD - Yay for fork wielding Benjamin, I think! :rotfl:
Must start getting Jack to use a spoon really.
Just playing a computer game with OH - I am practising shooting Zombies so I can protect Tia when they invade. I just got a head shot trophy :cool:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0
