    Hiya everyone :)

We got our letter to confirm that our notice has been given in for this house, and then about 3 hours later they call to say someone wants to view it already!
We dont even know if we have the new place yet.

I said to the woman on the phone, what happens if the people viewing this house like it and decide to put a holding fee and then we dont get our new place? (the guy who works there said we can retract our notice)

And she just kept saying "Its subject to contract"

Argh, stupid bint. Answer my damn question!:rotfl:

Lily is being incredibly cute today, i was singing 'wind the bobbin' up to her and she was laughing.
And then she was laughing when we were blowing her hair :p

    I love being a mummy!:T

Oh, advice sought cooking wise ones! - I have a nice half shoulder of lamb I want to really slow roast - but our bottom oven is broken at the moment, so if I want to do slow-roast lamb but with roast potatoes/other veggies, what's my best plan? Do the lamb then take it out for 90 mins and stick it back in to warm back up at the last minute? Slow-roast the veggies ? Any recommendations welcome :)

I would pre-cook the veggies until almost done then pop them in to reheat with the lamb ;)

I would love to go, but with DH gone I don't have any way of getting there.

newbie_maz - Finn doesn't really drink from a TT cup, weaning cup OR bottle either! I figure it'll click eventually and until then he'll have to be okay on boobie juice. I try him every day but it always gets spat straight back out.

Congrats on the win Aless :T

As far as I am aware then babies who are still regularly breast fed don't actually need anything else. David takes water from a TT cup with no problems but it is more for him to learn how to do it rather than a need for it ;)

    EA - it's fab being a Mummy isn't it? :D

Been to Mothercare to get car seat turned around as I was fed up of bumping his head, I don't think ours would go like Susan's did.
J has gone from looking huge in his rear facing seat to looking tiny forward facing! He loves looking at me for some strange reason.

He was up at 4.30am this morning as he didn't have much to eat yesterday at creche - at least I know he'll go through if he has plenty of food.

Went to Boots and swapped the nappies for Baby Dry's and I emailed Pampers and they are sending my vouchers in the post.

BIL is coming back TOMORROW  I thought it was July but found out yesterday it is right now! A bit !!!!ed off but it's not going to be for long.

Tia - I didn't realise Amber had no teeth either, wonder if it's linked to the GD??

Question - anyone have any ideas how I can get E to drink water?

Nope.. none of mine have ever drank water.. but then neither do I .. it is gross!! Dog juice!

So long as she's not constipated and weeing plenty I wouldn't worry.. most food is mostly water anyway.

My oldest and my youngest both stopped drinking milk at 6 months.. refused water couldn't do a beaker of any description so getting fluid into them was a nightmare.. Ice pops became a several times a day thing!.. and jelly..

    Definately!
Oooh forgot to mention, she rolls properly now! :j
Only from her front to her back, but as soon as you put her on her front she will roll, im sooo proud of her :D

Before it was a step by step thing, she would go to her side, then bend her legs up and then slowly move over, but now its 1 roll, sometimes she hits her head mid roll though :p

Jack drinks about 3 beakers of water a day! No wonder he pees so much

Lily is doing well with the rolling. J could only ever roll from front to back - love it when I knew that once he was on his back he couldn't move anywhere!

    Hi ladies and gents,

I've not been on for a couple of days, have I missed anything huge?

Isla's been really constipated and screaming in pain yesterday :( I'd cut her food right back and she still has a million booby feeds a day anyway but we ended up at the Dr's in the afternoon. I'd already tried fresh OJ, steamed apples etc but nothing was helping, the Dr was amazed that she's still BF and said it must be something she's been eating. I explained how she eats very little really as we're doing finger foods and he wanted to know why I don't feed her more?! He's given us lactulose which seems to have helped after the second dose today. A few comments he made had me a little peeved but I'm glad OH was with me as I'm sure he think's I imagine stuff half the time!

Wee James now weighs 3lb :T He's got another infection but is doing well.

If anyone and their OH's wear glasses I posted a grabbit last night for tesco. There doing buy your own, get a friends free for the world cup. Must be from the £65+ range. Linky

Hope everyone's well, lot's of necessary hugs and vibes where needed x
