Gym – Edgar Davids is Dutch! And I think the French Connection dress is much nicer. I don’t like the Monsoon one, but I also think it might be nicer on than in the picture. I got my dress from M&S! They had more choice then, but I think the one they have at the moment is beautiful and simple - here. Just throwing it into the mix!

Tara – Poor you. Life is throwing you some curve balls before this wedding! Hope it comes to nothing.

3 – I thought I was getting confused as I thought it was your microwave that was smashed. Had to read back as I missed your oven being smashed too! What a nightmare.

Glam – does Tia’s Amber have any teeth yet? I know she didn’t for ages (but that could have changed!)

SJ – Glad it’s not as bad as it could be with your Gran.

KOAG – Welcome back! Hope all is well with you and E. Sounds like his colic is easing off now due to his age so that will make a huge difference to you.

I was out for dinner with a friend, and had decided not to make it a late night anyway. We had just finished our main courses when the waitress brought the telephone over and asked if either of us were “Miss X”. It was for me and it was hubby on the phone. His Gran was rushed to hospital in an ambulance – she had fallen in the house, but they don’t know how long she had been lying. He didn’t know the full story, but I have had to come home to watch Holly to let him go to the hospital. His family stay about an hour away. Hope she is ok poor thing.

ETA - SIL just phoned in tears. They think it's a stroke and she can't speak and isn't with it at all.

    Hello!

Having laptop issues again - it's not liking Firefox :( so on IE tonight.

Welcome back, hugs, congratulations all round.

DH is fed up after the match but he's gone to bed as he's in work at 5am. I wasn't really watching it, I've set myself the project of pricing up all the caravans on the independent website for Devon Cliffs, to help us decide which one we want for next year.

DH's work have come up with a cunning plan during the world cup - if he has 100% attendance he'll be entered into a draw to win £150!

I probably won't be around much tomorrow, I've got swimming in the morning, then I have to get everything ready for Sunday - I'm leading the pre-school Sunday School

I did a review on my DMP tonight, I've up the payment a bit which means I should only have 4.5 years left to pay.

Proud to be dealing with my debts

I read too much and quoted too little...

3, what a miserable day :/ Domino's must have helped, and I am sure tomorrow will be better! Buying a new oven might even almost be fun? :(

Elle, welcome back :D you haven't said much about your holiday? Was it fun times, did Rhys like it, etc?

Fitz, what sad news :( fingers crossed for a good recovery :/ is she very old?

Could someone please stalk Caz for me? She has been disappeared for a long time again
Bruno- if you're around how is Mrs Bruno getting on with BFing E at the moment? I've been thinking about her this week (in a non-weirdo way, of course).

    Thanks GISI :p
She is doing quite well. We have introduced a cup of milk directly before BF at bedtime, which E has taken happily to, and means he BFs for less time - the plan is to gradually replace it entirely with the cup, but OH is currently being ok with doing it slowly-slowly.

We've also accepted that he's on the verge of giving up naptimes completely - in the last 6 days I think he's had naps on 3 of them and not the other 3  and on days when he went without, he went to bed just a little earlier but coped perfectly fine. He is getting sick just now though, definite fever and huge gouts of snot everywhere :(

Thanks Bruno. She will be 90 this year! She was fit for an old dear up until recently, but her eyesight has started to fade and she has had a few dizzy turns so she doesn't go out on her own now. But she still does all her own gardening and has a garden full of flowers and grows tomatoes etc! I don't know how she does it, but it's obviously her pride and joy and it motivates her to get out.

Glad that you and Mrs B have a plan in place for reducing the BFing. Is it usual for kids of E's age to stop naps? I'm not sure what age kids nap until. Before school age anyway I guess, but not really thought about it before!

P.S. How can we stalk Caz? I think Elle said she texted her and Tia wrote on her FB page. Any other ways? I have to assume it's her internet connection again. Not sure why she doesn't respond to Elle's texts though - do you definitely have her correct number Elle?

Oooh I love the Monsoon one! It looks more special to me than the other one.

So grandma got results from swab back today and she has chicken pox, which is actually good news as it means the rash is not a new lymphoma. Yey :T (Still has lymphoma and a carcenoma to deal with but at least there's nothing else)

    Yay - good news :j
