Fitz sorry about hubby's gran, hope she and you and family are ok
I feel as though I had a lovely comfy, cosy sleep last night. Was still up feeding in the night but think going up that bit earlier made a difference.
Brno that's good E is happy to have some milk from a cup at bedtime, good luck with swapping more over
We have a bit of nappy rash here which I thought might be due to teething so tried ashton & parsons powder last night and this morning. Bloomin fiddly trying to get half a sachet in his mouth!
My word I hate that whiskas advert where her cat "brings a friend round for dinner"
Don't know what I'm doing today as DH is going to BIL's to watch the Australia match0 -

Muso sorry if this sounds totally thick, but have you tried feeding H say 30mls, taking the bottle away for a little while and winding, giving her another 30ml etc? Guy was constantly bringing milk up at first and we found this helped.
We've tried that to a lesser extent - usually we try and wind her after each third of a bottle, which does help. She gets quite angry sometimes though when you take the bottle out mid-feed! Defo takes after her mum when it comes to food!Musogirl, is where the car parked private land? If not and it's not taxed you can ring the council to get it removed - at least you can here, we have done it before
I'm not sure "technically" who the space belongs to. At the end of the terrace theres a block of 5 garages - one per house with a parking space in front of each. Then there's this spare space that the houses have always shared for visitors, not sure who if anybody owns it. The neighbours have had their wreck parked there for at least 4 months now so nobody else can use it. I think we're going to shop 'em for the out of date tax. I think you can do it anonomously online.
Well we had a terrible night here! H wouldn't go to sleep for more than 10 mins at a time until 1.30am! Then she woke at 2.30, 4.30 and 6.30:eek: We think she might be having her growth spurt, cos shes waking more regularly for feeds but isn't actually taking a whole feed, so we're going to try the little and often approach today.
Hope everybody had a better night than we did!0 -
KOAG – Welcome back! Hope all is well with you and E. Sounds like his colic is easing off now due to his age so that will make a huge difference to you.
I was out for dinner with a friend, and had decided not to make it a late night anyway. We had just finished our main courses when the waitress brought the telephone over and asked if either of us were “Miss X”. It was for me and it was hubby on the phone. His Gran was rushed to hospital in an ambulance – she had fallen in the house, but they don’t know how long she had been lying. He didn’t know the full story, but I have had to come home to watch Holly to let him go to the hospital. His family stay about an hour away. Hope she is ok poor thing.
ETA - SIL just phoned in tears. They think it's a stroke and she can't speak and isn't with it at all.
Yeah I think its easing off w? hich is great, he is generally a happy baby now, the only screams we have is when he's overtired and wont drop off, so that takes some rocking in his car seat and then he's out lol
Get well vibes to GIL XXX
Ive been a bit scared to come here after the weening incident, but I thought meh E is my baby and I know he's ready etc etc (plus the baby dr ew saw at the hospital said E looked ready and there were no reasons not to and the whole "digestive system isnt ready" is crap), so anyhoo, E is now eating baby rice/porridge for his breakfast :T he loves it! He knew exactly what to do instantly and opens his mouth so wide for the spoon lol, so cute!
SJ does A have a dummy? someone suggested on my FB to dip the dummy in the powder a few times? or have you tried Anbesol, E likes that
Well I joined SW on thurs looking forward to losing weight, I managed to lose over 2 stone already without trying lol so fingers crossed I can continue losing
We need a new fridge/freezer deffo, the door fell off a while ago, but now its not keeping things fresh my mik is always going off, and we bought some pan frying steak and within a day it had gone brown and it was well within its date, I saw one in argos for just under £300 which looked good, and it has a water dispenser on the frint which I will use loads, so we might get that one.Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

No Kindof, he won't take a dummy, prefers him thumb  Managed to get it in but tricky keeping his hands out of the way and catching him before he closed his mouth.
We got our fridge last year from comet, they had some good deals on. Be really careful with what you eat out of the old one while you have it if it's not keeping food cold.0 -
We got our fridge from the Comet Clearance site and it was a bargain. It's a Samsung one that retails for over £500 and we got it for £270 including delivery and them taking the old one.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
