Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of people MIA???
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

my child has only just gone to bed  driving me bloody nuts - I missed that window of opportunity! He was overtired from creche so he's a right grump. I can't find the monitor so don't know if he's crying or not - bad mummy!

    hi ellie! don't lurk :)

Beenie - stay strong with it, just repeat yourself to her over and over and over. Text her, then ignore her if she phones you. Simples ;)

After Krystal's announcement and Sami & EA mentioning CDM I just realised I'm CDM35  Last cycle was 31 so am pushing my luck a little bit :o

Beenie (and others); am just lurking so sorry to butt in but I work in Goverment legislation and can reassure you that until the budget announcement on next Tuesday no one knows what is happening with CTC and IS (or indeed Chb for that matter). Anything anyone tells you at this point is pure speculation (and probably groundless!).
Hope that reassures some of you.
I'll booger back off to just lurking now!

P.S I agree with the others; tell her to do one!

You should butt in more often IMO :p:beer:

Thanks for the info, your job sounds interesting/stressful :D

Ah well all the more reason to tell her to do one, cos on Tues when Slimy Cameron tells us scummy single parents on benefits to get off our !!!!!! and get a job pronto, then i won't have time to look after a bad mannered ignorant cheeky brat :A:T

Did you see my edit? It seems to be a stupidly common problem, and easy to fix even if it means buying the part and fitting it yourself! I don't know how much they're worth when working fully though so might not be worth your time to fix it.

Did you speak to the manager at work yet?

I told my friend that it was trust fund they were getting rid of did she mean that, and she's replied saying "there's gonna be a debate they're phasing it all out"

She sounds very sure of herself, i'm gonna tell her "elliebobs said you're talking poo". That'll confuse her ;):rotfl:

Unfortunately am lacking a child so not really qualified to post here regularly! I usually post on the TTC (and sadly the MC thread) but lurk on here for the invaluable advice and bookmark it ready for that elusive day!

Take care all and poss 'meet' you all properly one day

good move; tell her that until the Chancellor tells me personally, it ain't happening! FWIW I think she's talking about Incapacity Benefit which is prob gonna be phased out at some point in the distant future (over four years is the timeline being bandied about).
