Thanks Boo! It was the wiggling i needed to do, thanks

My god it's massive when folded with the seat on. I take it it doesn't click into folded position so it stays folded?
I love it though
I can't work out how to use the insect net at all, it just doesn't work for me lol 0 -
Took Tahlie to Baby clinic on Thursday and she isnt gaining as much weight as they would like and has strted dropping centiles
She's healthy and alert etc and there happy that she is fed on demand, they seem to think its an issue with me being stressed or not eating properly, or even both! So am using up some of the freebie prgnacare samples I have left while looking for somewhere cheap to buy more vits, but the lack of sleep isnt going to help
Anyhoo they want me to stay on 2 weekly checks so they can keep an eye on her for now, and not leave it to get worse.
Som Isla's dropped down from being on the 25th at birth to just above the 9th now. I'm not worried as I know she's happy, alert and has plenty of wet/dirty nappies so I knw she get's enough milk. If you hadn't taken her to be weighed would you be worried about her progress? 'They' can sometimes put a huge pressure on mums that their babies need to conform to charts but babies do their own thing. Also are they using the chart for FF babies or BF babies?
Please don't beat yourself up that your stressed or not eating the right things, I'm reading 'The politics of breastfeeding' at the minute and it say's how mums in war zones with no food for themselves and the stress the war causes still produce healthy nutritional milk for their babies.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Morning,
Glad to hear of lots of babies sleeping well
We had a good night here too after a few odd ones - slept from 7 til 5, had a bit of milk and went back til 7
& even better, he's just dropped off for a nap by himself, no cuddle, dummy or milk, woo hoo!
I caught Guy rolling yesterday
Me & OH were sat in the kitchen and he was on a rug on the floor, gurgling to himself then suddenly he was on his side then on his front, so proud! I know he's done it before as I've left him and come back to him on the other side, but this is the first time I saw properly
He can't get back and generally seems to stop on his side, so not sure if it was fluke that landed him on his front!!
Thanks for the fathers day ideas - decided to get him a glass jar of 87 sweets, one for every day of daddy hood
Fairly easy to do and won't require much work or shop visiting for me!!
Anyone know how to make foolproof gingerbread? It was my dads request for fathers day and I've no idea, found a couple of recipes online but I'm pants at baking!
Yey for sleeping and rolling! Alfie is so lazy,, he isn't interested in moving anywhere!
Gingerbread recipe this is easy and makes lovely gingerbread.
The sweets in a jar is a FAB idea! I might do that too
I'll have to count the days up though.Morning everyone!
Does anyone know why my lappy won't connect to the Internet? My phone is connected to the same wifi, and is working, but the laptop can't connect ?!?
I was going to suggest toggling the wireless button btu that would have been too technical it seems lol
Boo, yes I'm still coming to sling meet next week0 -
Som, agreed with pigpen and boo. I haven't weighed finn in aroud 2 months, maybe even more, and he hasn't seen a HV since he was 3 weeks!! But he's happy and has lots of nappies, so i don't really care. Don't be concerned because 'they' tell u to be, only be concerned if u think tahlie's not well.
I know firsthand how lack of sleep can make u feel so down! Whatever u do, don't try and get thru it with loads of caffeine as it only makes u feel worse, a little is okay though.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Hi all,
Not got time to read back at the moment - need to tidy up as MIL is coming for the day. Just back from the docs though and thought I would report back since it was you lot who gave me the push to make the appointment.
Doc was happy to refer me for breast reduction surgery and the next stage is to see a psychologist. I pushed her for a timescale and she said this could take around 1 year, but after that if I am accepted, things move quite quickly. I had expected it to take about a year anyway, so at least I have got the ball rolling. And it means I have time to have a baby in the meantime perhaps! If it was 6 months, I would be more torn about whether I should wait until after to get pregnant.
She took my height and weight and wasn't concerned as I have just had a baby and losing weight. Ideal BMI would be between 20-25 for surgery so just to keep eating healthy and aiming for that. I think I am 28 at the moment.
From what i remember reading yesterday:
Well done to Buttons! I hope it makes you happier.
Weezl - hugs to you. I am sure Fergie is absolutely fine, but at least you have something to work on now.
Tara - sorry to hear about Ben's ankle. Hope it's not broken and you can still go on holidays. Are you going abroad or is it a Haven break? Glad OH's results show his heart is fine and hope they get to the bottom of it.
SJ - well done to Alfie for wanting lifted! Holly never seems to indicate she wants lifted - she lifts her arms when I am just about to lift her. I guess I am too quick for her to bother! She was waving to everyone in the docs today though so that's going well!
Beenie - speak to that woman and tell her a reciprocal agreement just doesn't suit you at the moment and you have too much on to mind someone on a regular basis. DO IT!!!!!! That's an order.0 -
Beenie it's all in the wiggle! :rotfl: My OH still can't put it down so he leave's it up in the hallway
I might steal the sweets idea too, I've got him a mug and keyring s might do a little hamper with sweets and beer too. Asda have got the Dad toblerones down to £1.50 as well.
Clever Guy rolling over :T
Isla's got a new smile, we don't know where it's come from but she think's she's gorgeous and all her face is scrunched up
And apparently the word 'bubble' is hysterical?! Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

^^^^ What they all said Som Alfie has dropped over a centile too but I know he's ok, just petite! He's still in some 0-3 month clothes too.
Out of interest why is it only FF charts in the red book?!
So DH started reading my last post about the father's day pressie so I told him not to read, this obviously got his interest up and was trying to guess what I had written about, so he asked if I was pregnant! Funny, he thinks I'd tell you lot before him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Hi Fitz, really sorry but just giggled when you said 'have time to have a baby in the meantime'. You made it sound sooo easy!!!

It's Majorca we're going, he just had a few tears for the first time as it hurts so much
so I just rang the surgery and had a rant at the time it takes the consultant to check the x-rays! Too many children, too little time!!!

And if you had suggested that, i'd have stared at the screen blank!
Mum has just invited herself for tea. I've half done steak chilli ready to go in the SC, so just need to make is stretch for an extra person.
I've found a tin on flageolet beans in the cupboard. I have no idea why they are there, what they are, or how long they've been there, but they're still in date.
Anyone know if they'll work in chilli? :beer:0
