Oooh really? Maybe I should phone asap...I just don't like to tempt fate and book an unborn baby in for things! As long as I get something in September I suppose it doesn't matter if it isn't the beginning, just Oct & Nov are busy birthday months.
My brother is a Beaver leader and he says that demand is so high that even if people put their unborn babies on the waiting list they don't necessarily get a place.

How was the rest of your week away MDW?

It was fabulous. We visited the Quarry Caves at Beer, DH has a thing about going underground - Katie loved it because the echoes are amazing in there. We also visited the Honey Farm up at South Molton, mainly for Katie as she was a bit nervous about bees but had a great time pressing buttons opening the display hives (behind glass).

A week wasn't long enough though, Katie was just beginning to relax, so the saving starts now so that we can do 2 weeks next year.

Oh, When I phoned the main number up about ds2 joining beavers I was just given the number for the local group, I phoned the lady who runs it and she just told me to come along, he has been going ever since....that was feb of this year (or therabouts)

It must vary greatly area to area then??

The only place that has got baby down is the pre-school attached to the school where the boys are. They are already full for next septembers intake(which is when K joins) and are mostly full for the Sept intake after that...including all intakes inbetween!!!

    xx

Grrrrrrr have just had a 'conversation' with my mum!

She has delightfully informed me that as of next wednesday, for ten days, she will be tied to the pub as she is doing the relief cover for the managers!!! Thanks Mum, 6days before my due date and covering right up until 4 days afterwards....what if I need to have the baby in hospital or ransfer during labour. Unbelievable!!

    BRILLIANT news, well done you!

How old do you think he will be when he outgrows it? We've got the asda one but could really do with another one thats a bit easier to clean :o

    ...
Chris was happy to sit in an antilop in the ikea restaurant when I was pg, so 2y+ but he's quite small so not sure Seth would be as comfy for that long, having said that we stopped using the high chair at home for him when he was about 18mths. The harness straps could be knotted together to allow for a taller baby and the actual harness is suitable for 3yo i think so that should be fine :)

MFD I sent you a txt today but I'm not sure I have the right number :s did you get it?

Time for an admission :o someone here sent me a txt about a hungry caterpillar outfit a few weeks ago, I have no idea who sent it though :o Do you care to reveal yourself? :D
