Opinions please

Reading what your babies eat along with their bottles, I am sure C is not having enough as she won't have milk from me apart from morning, night and sometimes 3pm. Am secretly hoping having more milk may stop one or two of the many night wakings . She sometimes has a lot from me when she wakes in the night but often it's just comfort suckling.

I know cow's milk doesn't have enough iron in it but would people think I was just a bit silly or super silly to try and get her to drink some during the day?

She won't have formula and I've lost count of the amount I have thrown away. At least OH could use any undrunk moo milk in his coffee

She does love broccoli, will eat red meat and has lots of fruit and veg for her iron.

I know it's my decision but opinions would be welcome...

PS I had kids at my wedding but would have loved Fitz' dad to entertain them during the vows and speeches cos kids always start creating at the wrong time IMHO (was my nephew screaming through my vows in my case :cool:). I wanted an entertainer but Ma and Pa said I was making a fuss and the one thing I said would happen did! xxx

a lot of what we are doing with Kian is trying something and if that doesnt work, trying something else. If you are happy to do it, it doesnt matter a jot what anyone else thinks.

I think feeding is just a matter of trial and error. Try loads of things and when you find something that works, stick with it

Eat festival was good. They had a street market with stalls selling food from all over the world. You bought a token for £2, and then went and picked a meal from one of the stalls. There were so many nice things on offer it was hard to pick something! I had Moroccan lamb meatballs and veggie cous cous which was gorgeous. Charlotte picked Polish smoked sausages with bread, pickled cabbage and onions.

There were loads of cup cake stalls and I said they could pick a cake each to bring home, but I was shocked to see they were around £1.25-£1.75 per cup cake! It was only a sponge cake with a swirl of butter icing and decorations on, then in a bag with a bit ribbon on. Had my business head on wondering what the profit margin is :rotfl:

Craig is happy as we found a bottle of Scotch Bonnet chilli sauce for him.

hello .. yawn ... remembered why i hate working sundays .. its big old granny pants an its more tiring then any other day but at least i get an extra £34 ..

how is everyone? .. kids are refusing to let each settle and it sounds like zoes coming down with a cold so shes going to be moaning (she usually is when she has one) .. i hope they go to sleep soon im going to hopefully be sleeping by 9pm x

Pain in the bottom working Sunday's if you have kids. Remember those dark days well, but as you say, one consolation is the extra £'s.

Could the potential cold be hayfever? Pollen particularly high in the South West, not sure where you are.

nah its a cold motm philips got one (dont ask me how) and shes picked it up off him ... and yes it is a pain in the bum on a sunday esp in my place its chav central on a sunday x

Fair enough. Hayfever is a pain in the buttocks that is constant for a few months Hopefully the cold will go soon.
