I don't understand Mr Joe, if he's not looking to buy there why does he care so much about the prices?

It's all about point scoring and very little about house prices in one's own area.

Many of the point scorer's live with their mum and dad and have no intention of buying a house, well at least until they've finished 6th form.

Don't you have to pass your GCSE's to get into the 6th form?

I would doubt any of them know their dad;)

And I assume Hamish shall not.

    :rotfl:

Actually, maybe I shall....... But I don't think you'll enjoy it......

As per the ASPC report mentioned in the article........

The average property price in the Aberdeen Housing Market Area for the first quarter of 2009 was £181,587, a decrease on the previous quarter figure of £192,370, because Aberdeen is a seasonal market.

The average property price in the Aberdeen Housing Market Area for the first quarter of 2010 is £191,291, a decrease on the previous quarter figure of £204,130, because Aberdeen is a seasonal market.

So Aberdeen house prices actually rose by 5.3% Year on Year according to the ASPC quarterly series, and volume of sales was up by nearly 20% as well. And thats despite the worst winter weather for 3 decades during the quarter.

So cheers, daddytroll, for posting such a positive article showing that prices and volume are rising in Aberdeen.

    Very kind of you.:D

Quite amazing the Aberdeen housing market. Hope the 20 some things rejoice at the rise. But then again Hamish, that`s a taboo subject with you. You have already told me off about that.
