But in this case, it's not that the villas have gone, it's more like a bug in their website.

For the last 3 days now the special offers have shown a villa (in fact it's a 3-bed comfort) for £319 but when you try to book it the cheapest is a 2-bed comfort for £359. Bit odd.
  • Center Parks have apparently got rid of their promotional discount codes and have now opted for a flexi-pricing system - apparently to incentivise people to book earlier.

They can obviously tell via their website search summary which dates are being checked out and are therefore popular, they then adjust their prices up accordingly. I don't think this applies to school holiday periods though, they just set them high and keep them high.

Those 'specials' screens will stay up for ages after the cheap villas have been sold. I don't even bother looking at them anymore.

Which location were you looking at?
    Is it midweek or weekend?
Are you flexible on your dates?

    Thankyou :)

Just booked up a break for next week for £169 at Elveden! whoop whoop!:T

    WELL DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like you, I'm struggling to get a reasonable deal with CP. How did you get such a price? Was this a call to their booking line?

    Many thanks,

  • To get the best deals you need to be able to go midweek or book well in advance.

If you aren't able to do either of these things but can be fairly flexible on dates then go in and select the month but instead of selecting a date select 'any date' as it is surprising how different the prices are from one week to the next.

Also, in my experience, Eleveden tends to be cheaper than the other sites... unfortunately too far away for me

    Hi all.

Me and the OH like to go to Center Parcs when we can afford to, and usually go as a birthday treat.

I've just been looking at prices for a midweek stay @ Sherwood for my Bday (w/c 1st March) and was shocked to discover that they are not accepting discount codes

My OH is in the police and is a member of their sports and social club. As part of his membership he gets lots of official discounts, one of them apparently being Center Parcs. The code he's got through his membership (which I might add, happens to be a code which is widely available on the net) does not work either.

Do you think CP would accept this if he or I phoned up? Because they're advertised as providing a discount for the police sports and social?

Just wondered what the chances of them granting it are, because the CP 'discount' was one of the main reasons he joined the sports and social

P.S Which type of accommodation is better, the Woodland Lodges or the New Style Exec Lodges/Apartments?

We've only ever stayed in the 2 story Execs (not the new style)

    Miserable Centre Parcs.....

I just phoned them up to see if they could do me a deal for tomorrow and they said the cheapest they would do is £699 which was a £0 discount!
    £699 for a weekend...

When i pointed out that it was tomorrow and they still had lots of empty accomodation they agreed they'd rather it be empty than discout it from £699!

I have been to CP about 8 times now and always at full price booking in advance, but never again.
They were just too greedy and too rude to tempt me back again,

I'm considering booking a CP holiday. If I look at "Late Availability" deals I can get the villa I want for £319. However if I try to book using their online system it's £359 for the same villa. Is this common? Am I neglecting to do something I need to do to get the cheaper rate.

If you see an accomadation of a larger size than your party need what you need to do is change the room requirements box to the size of villa offered at the lower price.

If you have a 4 person party and leave it to two bedrooms you'll only see two bedroomed prices, swtich it to three and you'll see the three bedroomed prices.

    Also

On the police discount one, it wouldnt be accepted, they stopped discounts in total. It;s the website thats got it on thats in thw rong they should have removed it when they got the info about discounts stopping.
  • anyone have a discount voucher for centre parcs?

    anks very much

Hi, Center parcs don't do discount codes at all, anymore. They've stopped doing them. They've changed the pricing so that the earlier you book the cheaper it is. There are no last minute bargins either . Even for returning cutomers !

The only 'offer' they do is when you're holidaying at Center Parcs they give you an offer if you book within 30 days of coming home, of free Insurance and £25 of vouchers to spend in the village. If you then book, and you see the holiday at a cheaper price before you go, they'll refund you the difference. This only applies if you're booking within 30 days of coming back from Center Parcs, AND you have to spot the holiday is cheaper, as they won't tell you !!!
