Well, it would make turnover look good, thats for sure!

Like I say, I have been polite enough, pleading via the notes when I do a refund, to read his e-mails, I have nothing to sell him, he was a late payer and broke the auction rules.

If he pay's again, thats it, it's mine. I can't do anymore and I can't be bothered playing the refund game!

    You're in the wrong here.

You're supposed to wait a minimum of 7 days, then file a non paying bidder claim with Ebay. Then, Ebay message them saying they should pay, and they have a further 8 days to do so.

So he can report you as a non-performing seller now, assuming he knows how to do it (and luckily for you he probably doesn't).

Why don't you just accept his payment and cancel the new auction?

Why should I? For a start, the auction is now £15 higher than it originally started, and as I said, it was on day 6 that I wrote to him giving him a warning, so I'm not in the wrong.

It was after 10 days that he then paid.

Sorry, OP, I have to agree here. Buyers can pay upto 15 days late, as the seller goes through the above procedure you can threaten them all you like until then (I should know I'm in the process of waiting for payment for high value vouchers which expire soon). There is nothing you can do. Fortunately in this case the buyer has no clue what they are doing, but you are in the wrong.

I think you will probably have trouble with this one and I imagine you will get a strike as a non performing seller. But good on you far too many people drag this whole proccess out.

If it was a newbie I might be more sympathetic but this buyer from what you have said is a serial offender!!

Why should you? Well, because that's Ebay's rules that you agreed to abide by.

If a buyer buys, has feedback of over 400 and I see a few neg's and neutrals saying no payment, and I'm waiting for payment, then sorry, I will forget ebay rules.

The only way to go through ebay is to involve paypal. I have a serious vengence against paypal.

In any case, think waiting 10 days for payment is stupid. No thanks, I'll just relist. I think waiting 7 days was fair enough.

No shop I know would say 'yer, I will wait 15 days for payment, no problem, I'll just hold this stock for you and let it get in my way'.

I'll all for fair game on ebay. As for a strike, don't really bother me to be honest. Ebay is getting silly with the feedback system. I told him I wouldn't leave him feedback, as I knew, if I left a neg or neutral, I would get a neg back. Which is why i didnt go down the claim route. Already had a negative from someone just out of spite this month and can prove the neg wrong and anyone can see where the neg has come from, stupid buyer who didnt read the auction. There wasnt even much to read. Not working, faulty for spares means just that! So the buyer expects it to be working ans negs me for it!

Anyway, I got sick of ebay. I have powerseller status and to be honest, since I got it, I've had so much hassle from buyers expecting everything. They pay at 7pm and honestly expect it to be on their door the next morning. I only got the status cus I sold a few high value things, including a car.

I may be 'wrong' in ebay's eyes, but to be honest, don't give two hoots. If I buy, I pay for it, don't wait 7 days and longer with no contact and then ignoring the sellers e-mails.

Did you start a NPB alert?

    No as said above.

Several e-mails exmplaining the situation should be enough without having to involve NPB alerts. He took no notice of invoices, no notice of e-mails asking him if he's having a problem to get in contact. No notice of the e-mails stating 'I will need to relist if payment not recieved on the 7th day'.

Then I get told I'm wrong by several on here!

Am I a bad seller now then?! :T

I'm all for working with people to resolve issues, but working with a brick wall got boring.

He has paid again by the way. This time, I have a note 'payment for second auction'. He's still winning it. Has sent me £42.50 again...the item is now at £61.

Can tell I'm gonna have more trouble, so will probably just block the guy. He's insane.
