I was trying to explain to NID that I'm not a liar, Lloyds are. Not talk about my account as if it's life and death.

I told you months ago they were a shambles, did you listen? Remember I deal with them in a way you wouldn't even comprehend on a daily basis and know their tactics, so why would you chose to disregard my advice over theirs? I am talking much higher level than a poxy branch manager mate!

Point is, Lloyds are a shambles of !!!!!!, come on April and get the HSBC account sorted yea?

They do lie, I have posted letters on my UE thread where the same dude has signed 3 different names.... how is that possible? Ive heard of two faced but 3, that's tekkin-da-peesh! :rotfl: :rotfl:

You do need to chill and stop biting - I knew you'd bite hehe (sorry)....

Why are you telling me that? It's me that's being chastised by you and several other members because you / they read what I repeated from Lloyds Branch Managers as gospel truth.

Perhaps. It depends how their credit scoring carries on between now and then. For the first time they've lifted my CPD. If they offer me a credit card with a reasonable limit I think that will seal the deal to stick with them because although they lie, I think we can both agree that HSBC won't be giving me a decent credit card any time soon with public record information on my credit file :o

    Dont bet against it Izools

I got a CC with HSBC with a £1k limit (now £3k) despite (at the time) 2 defaults and a CCJ

Internal scoring seemed to over ride everything with them, id managed my account well set up a regular savings account

On the flip side i went over my authorised overdraft a few months ago and they wont consider me for anything now despite earning twice as much as i did when i opened the account and having less debt overall

Well I'll look at it come April. This will be when all my adverse is 36+ months old.

If by that time LTSB have given me a nice low APR card with reasonable limit I'll stay put - as HSBC definitely won't give me a card on application for the current account.

If, however, LTSB haven't given me a card by then I'll be very likely to move :o

Do you care to quantify this with any examples or facts?

I recognise that they lie a lot when it comes to their credit scoring and it is awful for them to make things up rather than admit they don't know.

Nevertheless, they have an 01 number for a UK call centre which I can call morning, noon, or night without having to queue.

They have a secure online banking system with superb support for faster payments and reliable creation / ammendments of DDs and SOs.

And they have a very plush branch bang in the centre of town with minimal queues compared with all other banks in my home town (bar RBS). The counter staff never try to sell to me and always smile.

And they aren't part of HBOS. They aren't a brand of HBOS.

HBOS are a separate entity under the Lloyds Banking Group umbrella but they operate independantly of each other.

This may change at some point in the future but for now their systems aren't linked, or similar in any way, nor are their policies, terms, customer services, branches, or anything else.

They simply share the same legal owner. That is all.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to defent the way they treated me or the way they (seemingly) linked my account score to someone I used to hold a joint account with whilst lying about it all the while. That is dispicable.

So if you can quantify your swearing with actual experiences I'd be keen to learn from your unfortunate misfortune :o

TBH don't think izools is in the position to pick and choose what bank account he wants.

Think izools is lucky that LTSB have giving him/her platinum account with him/her's past history.
