No need to list all, FM radio (not all local stations are avaialble via the web)
Xenon flash for the camera (not everybody wants to walk around with several devices)
What does the iphone do that other phones can't?
Obviously it is the best for you, but it's not the best for everybody, by trying to spout it is the one hat fits all is part of brainwashing

Say what i bloody like pal. Its not a rant, sometimes you iPhone users need bringing back down to Earth. If it does it for you, great but we're not all sucked in to the Apple way of life.

It is fascinating how obsessed people can get over each others phones and then judge them because of it. It is also quite sad. Do you have too much free time? You could install some apps and games on your choice of phone to pass it.

I'm not looking to convince or brainwash anyone, it's just a phone, different people have different needs and things that appeal to them. I deliberated for months between an iPhone and an Android based phone. I like what I've got but I can see me moving to Android in a couple of years if things continue along the same trend. If a BB/Pre/Android phone suits others then great, enjoy it. It's just sodding tedious that a thread can't mention the iPhone without it being hijacked by the "my phone's better than yours" rubbish.

As normal most of the apps are non productive and pretty useless to the majority of users and games seem to be the order of the day and i very much doubt people will by a Pre or Pixi just because it plays games. Apps help to sell phones, Palm phones can't offer that as it stands.
The things stopping Palm from making its comeback are the build quality and the big lack of applications that can rival other platforms.

First if you can explain what trolling is, i'm not that up with computer speak and second, i did want to have the Xbox Live Gamertag and live.co.uk email address of nsabournemouth but it had already gone, and i can say that this is the only forum i visit as as mobile phone 'trolling' isn't my thing, whatever that is.

I agree, just that I do notice from some posters that when they mention the iphone, there is a tendancy that they are saying it is the best and no other should be considered, and what it fails at does not matter, if someone has never had a pda then I can understand why they would be excited over the iphone or any other smartphone. It's not just this forum , someone asked about a satnav, one reply was if you have an iphone then.... seemed to conveniently forget that any gps enabled smartphone has turn by turn apps for them too.
Me .... my palm tungsten2 is seeing better days, I may replace it with a ipod touch but that is only because there seems to be little left in the pda world nowadays

I think we can safely say that they have been busted as someone who is just trying to cause arguments - despite what they claim. Maybe one for the ignore list.
