do these usually come on the expected delivery date, mine expected delivery date is 8th march, any chance it can come before that.if i had known then what i know now0

Mine came before the expected delivery date.... so keep your eye on the status. Once shipped you can track the order via the internet through the shipping companies own tracking system. You can then see when it arrives in the UK and it should get to you the day after that.0

Just a note for those looking for an extra memory strip for their Dell. I ordered a 256MB strip from Crucial (https://www.crucial.com) and it works perfectly alongside the Dell strip already installed. They say you need to order 2 so you have a matching pair, but this works fine. You will need to alter the quantity on your order form from 2 to 1.
Cost is £21.99 + £3.85 VAT. The part no. is CT3264Z40B and it's a 256MB 184-Pin DIMM 32x64 DDR PC3200 Unbuffered strip.
Service was excellent, delivery ultra-fast (1 day) and, most importantly, it works.
Hope this helps someone.0 -
Remember that Diana Ross song, "I'm still waiting" ? Well, neither my lovely 'puter or the memory have arrived yet, I'm beginning to feel victimised.0

I would give them a call ASAP - they said they'd honour every order, so you've nothing to lose. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
I heard nothing about my Dell...
So i phoned Thursday, and after a lot of being passed about, was told it hadnt got to the building stage..
Yet today, it arrived
So Im sure it will get their eventually.
However, I wanted to get another 256mb... but missed the deal through Dell ( wanted to wait for the PC).
I looked at the link to crucial (CT3264Z40B ), but its £20.99 plus vat plus delivery = £28.01.
Then looked at https://www.novatech.co.uk, and found
333MHz 184Pin 256MB PC2700 DDR RAM DIMM 2.5V 2.7Gb/Sec
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?RAM-33%2F256
Can anyone please confirm that this would do the job?
It is only saving £5, but that would buy an optical mouse
Or should I just go with the security of Crucial?
Any help appreciated..

It looks like Crucial have reduced the price on the memory strip I mentioned earlier. When I ordered it the price + VAT came to more than £25 and therefore qualified for free delivery within the UK. Now it doesn't.0

Oh... thats why... dropped their prices.. and made me pay more
Do you know whether the Novatech 256MB will work??
