Not only was that confident it was also very good timing - Dell have pulled this memory chip from the website!!
You can, however, still buy a matched pair of 2x256Mb 333MHz memory off them for £110 (not the £29.38 I paid yesterday).:D

Dell appear to have been experiencing an administrative problem commonly known as a "**** up"!
The original orders were pulled and treated by a special team who contacted most people to offer them upgrades, then the orders were processed.
But is appears that the orders also are going through their original ordering system too - so they're sending out a second set at the same special price!! So if you've got a mate who wants a mega-cheap PC just take this order and pass it on. Or sell it on Ebay - you should make about £40 profit, making your original PC cost only about £145.

Interestingly I ordered 3 PCs originally (all on separate orders) but I've only had one of the second orders so far - still hoping I get the others!

    Great :)

    Thanks for that :)

Anyone know the going rate I could sell it for on Ebay?, also - how much roughly to post this via courier? It weighs a ton, and there are 3 boxes!!!

Can anyone who has received a 2nd dispatch for the 1 they ordered confirm whether or not they have been charged for the 2nd PC, which is their mistake for sending it out?

I received a 2nd dispatch and they DEFINITELY charge you for it - so no freebies I'm afraid.:(
Going rate for this system on Ebay is about £240 plus customer pays delivery which will be around £25-£30 depending on which couriers you use. So after paying ebay and PayPal fees you might clear around £40 profit on the 2nd system.
I've passed the extra machine I got on to a mate because his son wants a PC and this is too good an opportunity for him to pass up on. If the other two turn up they are going on Ebay though.
