It hinges on whether people can be arsed to pursue it LOL.

That is 100% correct and if they do "I believe" it will be settled out of court, a bit like B&Q.
If going down the legal route expect 4 months plus.

    Good luck and good night.

Is there a picture of the tele there? and what does that little * mean?

Also you didnt answer my earlier reply and find one of these teles at your quoted 700-800..

    * means offer valid until 27th April.

The cheapest TV I found was selling at £997 (but I didn't look too hard). Funnily enough by Pixmania, hardly a typing error at £199.

So we have now established pixmania are today advertising 70% off. & we are only 10% off that at £199. £199 isn't an input error.

    The list goes on..

They have no argument. The order was manually checked & complied to their terms (at the time) & they took & verified the payment which was made to their allocated account.

    Simples..

Try asking them how an order couldn't be validated without agreeing to their T&C's.
Ask them why we couldn't cancel the order but they could. That would mean their T&C's were unfair.
    God, that "cocoa" was strong.
And no pic of Ben, where's my rabbit.

They are in a bottomless pit, I agree.

I know where I am going with this one.

I just need a proper email address. I think I found 2 & gave them 7 days to respond & if they don't they will be held liable for the costs of tracking them down...

I must have so much time on my hands...

But I really am doing it to make them squirm & see what they say next..

Like I said. I am not bother about a TV or money. I am just going to see what they say next.

So far I have had 3 emails via their website, all of which are factually incorrect.

We are not discussing whether the sale was finalized or not as it does not affect the outcome. If there is an obvious pricing error then the sales agreement is considered void even if finalized.
The only 'route' you can go down is to try to find a judge that will support your claim that you believed the price was correct at the time you placed the order.
And you can be pretty certain that if you take them to court their defence will ask for disclosure as to whether you were a member of any MSE of HUKD forum, and whether you posted on this site. If they discover that you did you will then have to prove that you honestly thought that this was a genuine offer, despite most posters even early on saying "fill yer boots" because they (and thus you) knew this was a mistake. Any decent judge will then throw out your case.
If you say you weren't a member of any forum they will ask how you knew about this supposed deal. If you lie about being a member of these forums and they discover you were you will have perjured yourself, which is a much more significant problem than not getting a telly on the cheap.
My tip is - complain to them a couple of times, and if they still say no then move on and get over it.
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.

Please. please don't waste your time with emails. You need to send a written LBA (letter before action) to their head office and give them 14 days to provide you the tv for the advertised price or to settle with compensation, or you will pursue for "loss of bargain" (the price it would cost to buy elsewhere).

The head office as far as I know so far is:

    DSGi Maylands Avenue,
    Hemel Hempstead,
    Herts,
    HP2 7TG

They are part of DSG Retail Ltd (Dixons group).

    That is the next step.

What I suspect (if you read my previous post) is they will just get CCJs & ignore them all.

    No one is getting anything..
