Some light reading for you Ben. :rotfl:
I have just read some of you blog and it seems with the b&q water tanks. there was a lot of lies going on from this end saying no one could prove you all knew it was a misprice. but there is a thread with you all posting on...
So does it hinge on weather you mind being a liar or not?If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -

Fact an email saying the order has been validated. So customer can believe the offer to be correct. Also no retailer sells at true value when the item is marked up for profit.
So do you agree that the sale is void if the customer believes the price is incorrect at the time he places the order?
Did you believe 200 GBP was the real price for this TV?
The validation email would have been sent after the order was placed.0 -
Some people thought it was a misprice, some people thought it was genuine. It turned out that B&Q had sold some of the tanks at £50 both instore and online so it wasn't a misprice at all.0

Then, if it was not a misprice then it is not really the same is it?
You are working on the assumption that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. The example of the B&Q case shows that this is not a reasonable conclusion to make. I did not say the two situations were identical.0 -
